The apartment has everything one needs, clean and tidy. Everything in mint condition. Highly recommended.
This propert is located in the centre of morzine just about a 10 minutes walk and 15 minutes to the lifts.Perfect for what we needed plenty room enough in the living room for the bikes and good size kitchen.It was a challenge to find the apartment at first as following the directions on vrbo was the town square in morzine, had to contact the vendor to guide us, had to ask a shop keeper to help.There are two double beds in one room and one double bed in the bedroom downstairs.
We stayed for 1 week. We were a family of four. We have two children aged 9 and 12 and so they both had their own bed and then we had a double bed in the basement. Loads of space. Clean and tidy. Location was fab. Close to supermarket and 15 min walk to plenty .
We had a perfect stay. Rooms are nice and beds okay. Good kitchen with enough material, cubs and plates. Good location nearby the bakkery and busstop in front
Chalet was fantastic - it was perfectly situated and very well equipped. It had a great view of the slopes and a brilliant parking space outside. Although we always walked into town, bus M stops literally outside do you could save your legs but it doesn’t actually take half the time to walk.
Perfect location, spacious, attractive and very central
We stayed for a weeks mountain biking. The owner was so helpful, friendly and flexible, allowing a late check out as our flight was in the evening. The accommodation was clean, spacious and had a lovely outside space to enjoy.
We had a safe space to store our bikes and the home was an easy cycle to the gondolas. I would thoroughly recommend :-)

Beautiful chalet
We had an amazing holiday staying at La Cortna. Fantastic traditional chalet, very close to the centre of Morzine. (Less than 5min walk) The chalet is very well equipped with everything you need, even fondue and raclette sets. Lovely views of the Pleney and terrace to sit out on. We will definitely be back! Thankyou!
This a great apartment with plenty of room for the three men in our group. It is a 15 minute walk to super Morzine and 10 minutes to the Pleney. We rented our skis in the Caribou ski shop and left our skis in there basement which made life easy. The bus does stop outside but we didn’t use it.
The communication from the host was great and we would definitely stay here again.
Had a very nice stay in this property which was very clean and had everything we needed. We were a group of 5 adults and had plenty of room.
Located on the edge of the town centre and so mins away from the supermarket and a 10 min walk to the ski lifts.
Only thing I would change is that there was no directions provided to easily find the property and so we spent 30 mins trying to find it!
We really liked this apartment it was located in a quiet part of town not far from the shops and restaurants. The apartment has lots of space and a nice little outside area to sit if the weather is nice. Just a side note that towels were not provided but bed linen was, not sure if this is mentioned in the property description but we didn't see it and had to buy a complete set of towels when we got there which was a little annoying, but we know for next time. The kitchen is very good with a fan-assisted oven, an induction hob, and a large fridge freezer. We would definitely rent this property again if we come back next year.
Excellent location. It was remarkably clean. Totally spotless. It’s much bigger than the photos perceive it to be. It’s very close to the centre and restaurants. We found it easily using google maps and it was only a short walk from the bus station where our transfer came into. It’s bit of a trek uphill, which is totally fine and good prep for your thighs and glutes for the slope! So just make sure you’re organised and don’t need to go back and forth. We walked 5mins to the bus stop to take the bus to the le prodaines cable car to Avoriaz. We found this an easier route than walking to the other lifts such as Pleney and super Morzine which were more like a 15min walk. It’s about 10 mins to restaurants. I came with friends but this would be a great place to come with family and when my kids are bigger I’ll be bringing them back and hopefully staying here again!

Disappointed
I am sorry to say I was disappointed with this stay. I had a number of issues:
1. The electricity and heating stopped working 2 times for several hours whilst we were there. This was a huge inconvenience especially at night and in the morning when it was very cold. I was told by a neighbour that this was a common occurrence. I understand this is not the fault of the owner but we should have been warned in advance if this is something that occurs regularly.
2. The owner doesn't communicate in English despite the website indicating otherwise. I don't speak French so I was at a severe disadvantage as I needed to communicate with her many times due to electricity and boiler issues. The contract was issued to me in French and as I discovered later there are some things to be aware about in the contract such as high expectations on cleaning before leaving.
3 Towels are not provided, not even a tea towel. I am told this is stated clearly in the contract. I didn't complain but went out and bought my own. I only complained later when I was told none of my deposit would be returned.
4. None of my sizable deposit was returned which I felt was very unfair. Only when I enquired I was told I left the apartment in a mess and damaged a chair, due to standing on it to fix a curtain. I openly admitted to this and apologised but had hoped that my inconveniences of lack of electricity/ heating during my stay the cost of repair might be waived.
5. In terms of us leaving the apartment in a mess I completely refute this. We are a clean family of 5. We were offered a cleaning service and we rejected it because I assumed that was for a mid week clean which could do ourselves. It's correct that we didn't do a *deep* clean when we left, but we did leave the apartment in a good state with the exception of the following: We did not strip the beds as we assumed the owner was responsible for changing linen. We left the towels we purchased in the hope the next occupants could use them. We did forget to empty the downstairs waste bin but all other bins and recycling were dealt with. We left an empty shampoo bottle in the bathroom and we left some unused food and drink as a kind gesture not because we couldn't be bothered to tidy it away.
I hadn't intended to complain about the electricity/heating issues until I found Madame would be keeping the full deposit, which was a shock given the issues we had faced and how patient we had been about them. We are sadly disappointed.

Cela fait plus de 20 ans que je loue mon chalet et je ne l' ai jamais vu dans cette état: chaise cassée, pouf enfoncé poubelles laissées , carton , salle de bain pas nettoyée : 5 h de ménage pour tout remettre en état.
Propriétaire très arrangeante (cf les divers commentaires) et conciliante mais il ne faut pas abuser.
Appartement super mais localisation erronée sur la map abritel. Le logement ce situe chemin de la salle. Piste accessible par navette D puis A. Mais chambre chaleureuse et très bien équipée.
Fantastisch appartement op de helling naar Avoriaz. Busstop recht voor de deur 2 x per uur om naar de Pleney en Supermorzine te gaan. Ruime keuken, zeer compleet, ruime woonkamer, ruime slaapkamers. Gehorig alleen wel, houten vloer, we hoorden 's nachts soms bovenburen. Veaanrader
Très satisfaits de notre séjour. Marie-noelle a su s'adapter à nos contraintes ce qui a facilité notre séjour avec notre petit garçon.
Logement propre et fonctionnel. Tout le nécessaire est à disposition.
Le chalet est coocooning et la terrasse agréable.
Place pour stationnement devant l'appartement et le bus qui s'arrête devant.

Alles klopte ! De host was zeer behulpzaam en goed bereikbaar. Het huis is zeer.ruim.schoon en enorm compleet uitgerust! De locatie met uitzicht op de dalafdaling, de gratis bus direct voor de deur, prive parkeerplaats en loopafstand van de winkels in morzine maakt een heerlijke plek!absolute aanrader. Ps. Houd rekening met het feit dat het een houten huis is en je bij luidruchtige bovenburen daar last van zou kunnen hebben..dit huis heeft een begane grond en een ruime extra slaapkamer en badkamer in het souterrain.
