Chalet Papillon is a beautiful chalet nestled in between Chatel and Chapelle Abondance. It is ideally situated for large families or groups to explore the Abondance Valley, with the nearest lift a 2 minute drive away. Chatel centre is 2km up the main road, allowing access to the whole Portes du Soleil ski area. The largest supermarket in the whole valley is just a few minutes away, so stocking up on essential items is quick and easy.

The 5 bedrooms are on the first floor, all of which can be configured as 2 single beds, or 1 super kingsize bed. There are also 2 full size single beds which can be moved into any bedroom according to guests requirements. Every bedroom benefits from an ensuite bathroom, all with toilets and showers, and 2 of which have baths. 3 of the bedrooms have a connecting balcony which faces the other side of the valley, enjoying fantastic views, especially at sunrise and sunset.

The ground floor is a large open plan living area, with plenty of comfortable seating, a dining area with banquet table for 12, and a high specification kitchen. The entire living space is heated underfloor, and a gas fire gives an instant heat if needed. A flat screen television with various international channels sits on a unit at one end with a DVD player. A toilet and sink room finish off the indoor space on the ground floor.

The hot tub is accessed through the garage in the basement. Guests also have use of the garage and boot room in the basement, which features a heated boot rack, coat drying rails, as well as a washing machine, tumble dryer and a large freezer.

Outside there is a lawn area around the hot tub. Parking for up to 5 cars is outside the garage and along the front of the chalet.
