My family and I really enjoyed our 10-week summer stay at this spacious property! We loved being close to the West Falmouth Market, the Shining Sea bike path, and Chapoquoit beach (where the water is really warm). The back deck and yard are perfect for bbq's and lawn games. The owner (Linda) is super responsive and helpful without being intrusive. Definitely looking forward to staying again.
On a busy road, as others indicated, but we biked and walked--to beaches, the store, ice cream--everywhere we needed to have a great vacation. Very comfortable. Many thanks!
This location was excellent. Close to ice cream shop, market, walking trail, and beach. The house itself appears quaint, but needs some major upgrades throughout and more comfortable furniture and stronger internet. No soap, shampoo, or other bathroom. Children complained about internet connection, especially upstairs, and about how uncomfortable beds were. Recommend clearer directions for use of the TV.

We were sorry to read that this guest had trouble with our internet. If she had contacted us during her stay, we could have resolved the issue. We are available to our guests 24/7 by text and phone. Our own family, as well as our guests, have had no issues with the internet, upstairs or downstairs. As for the furniture, most of our beds, couches, and chairs are firsthand Ethan Allen, and this is the first complaint that we’ve had.
Wonderful home in a wonderful location! Great week to be on the Cape. Close access to the best beaches. Owner very easy to communicate with. Will probably be back at some point
Well kept house and even though on a busy road, no noise from road in bedrooms. Although there are a lot of bedrooms, it would suit a single family best. Would be good to have layout on site to make this clear. Good access to West Falmouth Market and Shining Sea trail. Host is very easy to work with and very helpful!
Lots of rooms, comfy beds, walk to ice cream and beach, well-appointed kitchen, family style dining on the back porch. Hosts friendly and responsive. We had a wonderful vacation here with 5 adults (two couples) and two kids.
House was conveniently located on Route 28A so we had easy access wherever we went. The West Falmouth Market was amazing. Don't bother to stop at a supermarket this little local shop has it all from wine and liquor to bakery to deli.
Lovely house. Well kept. Everything worked fine. Only 2 really small issues to report. 1) house on Main Street caused lot of noise and difficulties getting in and out of driveway. 2) lamps were not strong enough as I enjoy book reading and had a hard time finding a light bright enough. Otherwise as stated we were very happy with the house and it’s nearness to places we liked visiting.
Great location, great AC, nice deck and back yard. The TV room is a plus. Plenty of pots pans and cooking utensils. Close to the beach, close to the bike path, and close to the West Falmouth market.
Great house for our family of seven.
Owner was easy to communicate with.
We enjoyed our visit very much!! Looking forward to visiting again on season so we can visit the beautiful nearby beach
The property has a lot of room for a family and is in a great location for access to amenities. The owner was very welcoming and easy to access. Air conditioning and internet both in excellent working order - kept us cool and connected.
We had a great time at James' and Linda's house! When our Google Maps app led us astray to a different location, Linda was so helpful in giving another landmark to help us get there.
This is a great size house for our family of six, and the toys in the tv room were a bonus. There are more than enough bedrooms, and there was space for everyone to spread out on a rainy day. Great DVD collection too!
We enjoyed the proximity of the cute coffee shop and general store (quick walk!) and the ability to take day trips to Boston, Martha's Vineyard, and Newport. It was a great week for our first New England visit. We would definitely recommend this house and would love to visit again!

Great Location!
The house is in a great location with a walking distance to the Shining Sea Bike Path that runs through marshes, salt ponds and beautiful sea views and also historic West Falmouth Market that has been in town since 1902 that offers everything you need including freshly baked almond croissant every morning. Two great beaches: Chapoquoit and Old Silver offer an amazing sunset are only a few minutes’ drive from the house. The Old Dock Road Harbor (just passed the Bike Path) turned out to be a great fishing spot. House is well equipped and has lots of movies for a rainy day. Linda was very helpful and always answered very quickly. We loved our stay!

Great Stay
We had a great stay at this house and the owner's were very responsive while we were there. The family room with kids toys was a hit for the 2 and 3 year old we had with us and we didn't need to bring any of our own toys from home. We also really enjoyed the deck in the back as we could all sit down for a nice grilled meal. Lastly, we really appreciated the information the owner's provided prior to our stay as it really helped us plan our activities during our stay. All and all I would recommend this house to families looking for an affordable way to stay on the cape.

Very convenient to beaches, bike path and market.
We enjoyed our stay. The owner was so kind and Helpful...available for questions. They made everything convenient for our stay. The house was convenient to West Falmouth Harbor for paddle boarding and easy walk to bike path. The west Falmouth market had everything we needed. Only drawback for us was difficulty with our boat trailer on the busy road. Everything else's was great.

Picture-Perfect Rental - Ideal Family Vacation
This rental is nothing short of amazing. Ideally located in a beautiful part of West Falmouth, the house is a quick walk to the West Falmouth Market where you can buy ANYTHING (meats for grilling, local produce, gourmet snacks, baked goods, wine/beer/liquor, and even diapers!), across the street from a delicious ice cream parlor & cute café, and 1.5 miles from the BEST beach on the Cape (Old Silver).
I spent summers on Cape Cod when I was growing up, and wanted to share the magic with my children as well. Our family vacation at Linda & James’ home could not have been more perfect. We spent our days at the beach, enjoying ice cream & the carousel in Falmouth center, and exploring the area. At night, we checked out some great restaurants (thanks to the well-thought out suggestions provided by our gracious hosts), ate lots of ice cream, and enjoyed the local scenery on the charming front steps of the house.
Proximity to the delights of Cape Cod aside, Linda and James provided the most perfect atmosphere and environment for our family. The house is incredibly spacious (there were three bedrooms we didn’t even use), clean, and well-kept. There were baby gates by the stairs (excellent if you have a 1.5 year old), extra beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler, and even a jogging stroller in the shed! The dvd collection is quite impressive (and helpful every once in awhile when the children are exhausted from the beach), the toys in the den were a huge hit, and my three year old was even more excited to be on vacation when she saw the Little Mermaid bedspread in one of the rooms upstairs.
In essence, Linda & James catered to our every need, without even knowing it. Their thoughtfulness is evident in the way the keep their home and treat their renters. From the outside shower (which was great after the beach) to the central air to the breakfast nook to the delightful back deck, everything about this home is sheer perfection. Linda and James clearly know how what their guests need and want, and I have no problem saying, to date, that this trip was the absolute best vacation I have ever had. Linda was a joy to work with and very quick to respond to any questions that came up and I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone else looking for the quintessential Cape Code getaway.

Tremendous value with great location
This spacious 5 bedroom cape cod home is next to a great bike/walking path. The location was perfect, as it was easy to find and in a beautiful neighborhood. The fenced in yard was great for playing with our grandson who was 16 months old. There were also many toys for him to play with both inside and outside. The kitchen had everyting we needed to grill on the deck or cook inside. We ate at the house for most of our meals. The market is 1 block away and has very good sandwiches. There are at least 3 beaches within a 15 minute drive of the house. We walked to Old Chappy beach. We had a wonderful time, as everything went as perfect as possible with a toddler. We would definately rent this home again even with less people (we had 6 adults & 1 toddler). We love Cape Cod and the surrounding area - Plymouth, Boston, and Newport, Rhode Island - all within a 90 minute drive.
Thanks to Linda and James for renting us your beautiful home,

Best House On The Cape - Magical
This was the second year my family has stayed in this home for our annual Cape Cod vacation and it could not possibly be more perfect. I'll make this easy to read by bullet-pointing:
- It's an old Victorian-style with lots of character that really makes you feel like you're getting a storybook "Cape Cod" experience. Outdoor deck with big table for meals!
- Don't laugh, this is significant: It is right across the street from the most charming breakfast cafe **ever** with the best breakfast food I have **ever** had. I say this as a "brunch person" who has lived in 5 U.S. cities including (currently) Boston. It's a tiny adorable hut where the owners work from-scratch magic into each dish; wander on over for the best mornings of your life every day of your vacation!! It takes them awhile to bring you your food but that is just *perfect* for easing into another glorious Cape Cod day - especially with the outdoor seating. If you don't want a full meal they have from-scratch baked goods every morning you can grab to go. Cinnamon rolls, blueberry buckle, and more. All to DIE for.
- It's walking distance to Chappy beach (a lovely walk).
- It's an easy drive to Old Silver Beach (sometimes there's a wait for parking - we always bring one bike so that one of us can drop everyone else off and then bike over if parking has a wait).
- The manual for the home will tell you about a best-kept-local-secret swimming hole with tons of parking, few people, and a perfect pond beach for kids or anyone else who wants a break from the waves. You can even bring big inter-tubes, which is no longer allowed at most beaches!
- Right down the street from this house is the "General Market," a tiny gourmet grocery with AMAZING sandwiches. Be sure to try some of the "Cape Cod Gourmet Toffee" - locally handmade euphoria.
- It's an easy drive to adorable downtown Falmouth where there are great eateries and cute shops. Don't miss the "Parisian" baguette sandwiches at the Boulangerie.
- It's about 20 minutes from Mashpee where there's a great movie theater for rainy days, great shopping, and still more great food.
- It's not too far from the ferries that take you to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. MV can be a day trip; Nantucket you'd want as an overnight.
Finally, dare I say lest it be raised, the rental price is world's better than everything else we looked at and I really don't think we compromised anything.
We are in love!!

Amazing historic home in great location
Can't wait to return to Falmouth and stay in this spacious, well-equipped house. The owner was extremely accommodating and helpful. The house had tons of room for our family to spread out and is stocked with DVDs, games, and toys. Convenient to the bike trails and a delicious brunch place across the street. There is even a market a few paces away.
Falmouth itself was an adorable town and we recommend Pie in the Sky in Woods Hole. If you venture to Martha's Vineyard, we found that Chris at Harbor Taxi gives a knowledgable and interesting tour of the island.

Best rental in Falmouth
My family rented this house in July 2014. From the first inquiry to the return of the security deposit after we left Linda was the absolute best to deal with. Anything we needed she responded to and took care of immediately. Truly a joy to deal with.
The house is easy to find and centrally located to all the best Falmouth beaches which we used every day of our vaca. there is lots of room indoors and out to hang out, grill and just enjoy the "Cape Life". we brought our 4 children and many family members come visit us during our stay and we never felt cramped. We really loved being able to walk
100 yards down the street to the market and ice cream place. The little breakfast place was my wife and I's early morning escape for a quiet cup of coffee yet still be able to see the house. This is my new go to rental on Cape Cod! No need to look any further. Don't forget to catch a Falmouth Comodores game! Great baseball at a great price.
