Quiet and rest assured in this pretty floral village in the heart of Vaux of Yonne, 26 km south of Clamecy. Rolling green countryside! Near the Canal du Nivernais and Baye Ponds, the Morvan Regional Park, 1 hour of Vezelay and vineyards of Pouilly, Sancerre, Chablis.

Ideal for family holidays together wonderfully outdoor recreation (hiking, biking, water sports, fishing) and discover a rich tourism and cultural heritage!


The cottage offers a very luminous space, tastefully decorated and warm comfort. Complete renovation very recent area of ​​85 sqm.
On the ground floor: large living room with kitchenette equipped with high-end, oven, dishwasher, microwave. Open fireplace + stove in season, television, DVD player, internet access, stereo (radio, CD, USB, MP3, ipod). Cloakroom / utility room with washing machine.
First floor: 1 room with 1 bed 140, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds, bathroom toilet, large landing with small sofa 1 pers.
Electric heating in all rooms.
Baby Equipment Complete.
Terrace, garden furniture, barbecue.
Fenced and wooded (parking).
Ping-pong, games, 3 bikes available.

A great stay

The house is wonderful - very well appointed and set in very peaceful surroundings. It was fantastic to be able to step outside the door and be in the fields within minutes. Francoise and Dominique are lovely hosts - very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back!

A delight

This is a lovely little house with a splendid garden in a fantastically unspoilt corner of rural France. Look elsewhere if you want cafes, restaurants or shops. This is a lovely little village in gorgeous rural countryside close to the amazing Morvan national park and some lovely small towns. But you have to drive to the nearest shop. The owners are delightful and do everything they can for you (including in our case, giving us some delicious fish caught that morning). Note though that they live next door and the garden is in theory shared (though in practice we had it to ourselves). Absolutely clean, well equipped and comfortable. We couldn’t have hoped for more (and Hunter the dog loved it too). We had a lovely stay.

Rural and Quiet

Michaugues is a very small town in Burgundy. The next town with all facilities you need for buying food and other stuff is around 30 Kilometers. Michaugues is very good for visitors which like to hike or making tours with bikes. For all other purposes you have to expect longer routes with your car. The vacation house has enough space for a family with two kids (two seperate bedrooms) and ist fully equiped, included a dishwasher, a microwave and a washing machine. The landlords, which living nearby in the neighbour house are very friendly and helpful. They speaking french (of course) and a very good english and they like it if the visitors bring along a nice pet, like a dog. Although the weather was quite a lot rainy in this week, we enjoy our stay in Michaugues and can recommend this Commodation absolutely.

Een heerlijk huis in een prachtige, rustige omgeving met veel privacy. Met een mooie volledig ingerichte keuken. Zoals het in de omschrijving staat, was het ook.Een zeer hartelijk ontvangst van door de lieve eigenaren.Prima wifi.Én een prachtige tuin waar je verse groenten en fruit uit mag halen of krijgt aangereikt.Kindvriendelijk huis, tuin en omgeving.Wij waren er in de zomer, maar in de winter is het er vast ook goed toeven met verwarming boven en beneden en een prachtige openhaard.

Nous sommes venu en famille pour nous reposer et visiter la région. Les propriétaires étaient très accueillants et de très bons conseils pour les ballades ( canal du Nivernais ,lac des Settons , Auxerre ... ). Bravo pour la construction de ce gite de qualité et pour sa propreté . Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour, merci .

Sehr schöne Fewo mit wirklich netter Vermieterin

Habe mit meiner Schwester diesen Teil der Bourgogne erobert, was von Michauges aus gut möglich war. Besonders wohlgefühlt haben wir uns in der super ausgestatteten, absolut ruhigen Ferienwohnung, die für uns keine Wünsche offen ließ. Francoise stand uns in iher netten Art mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.
