Spacious child-friendly farm near Lauwersmeer and Wadden Sea

Special romantic farmhouse on a mound in the middle of the meadows of Friesland below the Lauwersmeer and close to the Wadden Sea and eleven cities of Dokkum and Kollum.

Layout:
This authentic Frisian farmhouse has a lot of atmosphere of itself and at the same time all the luxury of a modern house. The farm is suitable for 7 to 10 people; 2 extra cots can be placed on request.

Downstairs is a spacious kitchen, cozy living room, large bathroom and a bedroom with its own small bathroom. The part where the cows used to be at the stable windows is the kitchen with a long table and a colorful cushion corner for the children. The cozy upstairs room is furnished as a living room. The conservatory, with an unobstructed view of the meadows and doors to the platform, is a very special bedroom. This bedroom has a double bed and next to the bedroom is its own small bathroom with shower and toilet.

Upstairs there are another 4 bedrooms, two with a double bed and two with two single beds each. The single beds can be pushed together if desired and can be turned into double beds with an extra top mattress. In that case, the house has five rooms with double beds. You can easily place a cot here and there. All bedrooms are light and fresh and have beautiful panoramic views over the meadows with sheep and in the spring the lambs.

Facilities:
The part is fully equipped with underfloor heating, just like the large bathroom (with double shower, double sink and king-size bath). In the old upstairs room you will find the homely atmosphere with a corner sofa, television and a wood-burning stove (next to the central heating) from which you have a nice view over the meadows. In consultation, everything is available for little ones: cots, high chairs, bouncer, baby bath, changing mat, toys etc. There is a washing machine and wireless internet (WiFi) available.

Terrain:
The farm is surrounded by nature with two terraces, one facing east for the morning sun and one facing west for breathtaking cloudy skies and the most beautiful sunsets. On site there is plenty of room for (small) children with a sandpit, water playground, playground, trampoline, table tennis table (inside and outside) and go-karts. Here is real peace as the farm is on the edge of a nature campsite with a meadow bird area and at the end of a dead end road. Outside the English fencing there is another path to 2 Canadian canoes and 2 kayaks for a nice trip to Kollum.
