Modern family chalet w/ balcony and mountain view - sleeps 6

Chalet St Claude was built in 2018 and is just a short 2.5km (4 minute) drive to Vaujany Ski Resort and ski station.

From Vaujany, you can jump on the cable lift direct into the Alp d’Huez ski area, or there is another bubble which takes you to the Montfrais ski area (great for beginners and kids), from which you can then get up to Alp d’Huez by chair lift.

The chalet has uninterrupted mountain views, and is very private and peaceful as nothing is built to the side or front of it.

Our three bedroom chalet provides guests with accommodation in three double bedrooms all with south-facing views. The layout of the chalet allows for 2 separate living spaces - perfect for families or two families on holiday together.

Sleeps 6-7

GROUND FLOOR
- Entrance hall
- Separate WC
- Open plan sitting room, dining room and kitchen, with doors opening on to south-facing balcony
- Log-burning stove
- Stairs leading to first floor and lower ground floor

FIRST FLOOR
- Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with a super king-size bed and a single sofa bed (which can be placed in bedroom 2)
- En-suite shower room
- Bedroom 2: Double bedroom with king-size bed which can be split into 2 singles
- Family bathroom (with bath) with a washing machine and tumble dryer

LOWER GROUND FLOOR (can be self contained):
- Open plan sitting room, dining room and kitchen, with doors opening on to south-facing outside space. There is a comfy 2 seater sofabed.
- Bedroom 3: Double bedroom (king-size bed which can be split into 2 singles)
- Bathroom with walk in shower

CATERING
Although our chalet is self catered we can arrange for fresh French baguettes and croissants to be delivered by the local bakery each morning. If you fancy a night or two off from cooking we can arrange for you to eat at a local Chalet Hotel (catering subject to availability and payable locally)

PARKING, STORAGE AND ACCESS:
There is free off road parking in the hamlet. We have a secure garage perfect for bikes and ski storage. The entrance hall on the ground floor also has space for ski boots and jackets. The chalet is accessed by its own front door to the rear.
