Pear Tree Cottage is a cosy semi detacted property situated in the lovely village of Ruswarp, just a short distance from the seaside town of Whitby. It boasts four bedrooms; a king-size double, a double, a twin (zip/link can be double on request), as well as a second floor twin, sleeping eights guests altogether. There is also a bathroom inside, a ground floor shower room, kitchen/diner and sitting room with woodburning stove. To the exterior is a designated parking space for 1 car, 50 metres from the property, and an enclosed patio at rear with furniture. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome. Note: Staircase to loft twin room has restricted headroom, low door frame and sloping ceiling. Please note that weekly bookings need to start on a Friday unless agreed by the owner previously. Town: Ruswarp lies on the River Esk, just outside of Whitby with excellent amenities, including a local pub with hand-pulled real ales, a village shop and a renowned local butcher. The village has a regular bus service, and the single track railway has regular steam trains running through the Esk Valley! Enjoy an hour’s boating on the river, take a ride on the miniature train, feed the local ducks, or enjoy a snack at the tea room. A perfect location for exploring the surrounding coastline and the North York Moors.
