About this property

Beautiful Seafront Beach House

Brand new the 2019 holiday rental market, this stunning sea front beach house, has been fully renovated, with a seaside theme throughout.

The property offers an open plan kitchen/living area that leads to a balcony with seating, all on the first floor which maximises the view across the Solent.

There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a separate w.c., making the property ideal for families or couples. The lounge also has sofa bed which is available on request for additional guests.

One of the Kingsize beds converts to two singles on request.

The master bedroom has an ensuite, with shower bath, and patio doors, leading onto a decked area, surrounded by beach pebbles.

Equipped with luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen, luxury bathroom towels, essentials and a welcome pack. The property has all the modern conveniences you would anticipate, including wifi throughout.

There is a gazebo type fisherman's hut, to offer shelter from sun or rain with an outdoor gas bbq.

Available for weekend (Friday to Monday) or midweek (Monday to Friday) stays, offering a discount for breaks of 7 nights or longer.

For larger groups, there is a second property which can sleep up to 4 called Sea Esta. A further discount can be offered when booking both together.

We run a strictly no pet or smoke policy on the property to offer a pleasant environment. Full deposit will be lost if this condition is breached.

A short walk to local shops, and an even shorter walk to the local pub.

The promenade is excellent for walks for all abilities, along with pushchair accessibility.

The property has parking for two or three, cars, however, there is also free parking in the road.

Time to unwind

A beautiful property in a fabulous location - perfect place for us to simultaneously unwind and revitalise. Worth booking for the balcony overlooking the sea path and beach alone.

Easter Break in Sunny Selsey

Great break by the beachfront, house has fantastic views. Lovely for walks along the sea front, and all that the area has to offer. House very modern, clean and well equipped, just what we needed. Marie was so helpful and efficient and shared great local knowledge. Would definitely recommend staying here.

A Breath of Fresh Air

Lovely property

The property was lovely, decorated to a high standard, with everything we could need for a holiday. The host was really helpful, and communicated well about check in. She was also very understanding when we lost one of the keys. It was nice to sit on the balcony and look at the sea view. The beach was extremely quiet- I went for a swim each morning (sea really clear!) and no one else was around at all! It was handy having a pub directly next door, (although we didn’t find the landlady very friendly!)Selsey is close to various places to visit such as Chichester and Bosham Hoe. This made it convenient to drive around and explore each day.

Stunning, restful seaside location in a beautifully decorated beach house

We booked Seaside for the view and proximity to the sea. We were so impressed, the house is a stone's throw from an unspoilt part of the coast. Stone beach right by the house and sand just round the headland. The house makes the most of the fantastic views, it has been decorated so thoughtfully. Really beautiful. Our host was helpful and welcoming. The Witterings a short drive and then art was blissful to come back to our own little quiet bit of coast. Co-op just a 3 min drive for everything we needed. Beware charged £500 for so called “damage” to towels and linen.

Beautiful views and directly opposite beach. Although advertised as suitable for 8, very pokey for so many people. Bannister came off the wall within 10 minutes of arrival when I brushed against it as I went up the stairs informed hosts immediately and was told they were away on holiday so couldn’t repair it. Imagine my shock when I was charged £500 for towels being damaged and linen and damage to wall……. Been on holidays for the last 15 years and never been charged.

Dear Toba, It saddens me to read your review, although I am not surprised by it. To begin with, no one has ever described the property as pokey before, it is a three bedroom property, plus a sofa bed, which we hoped would be comfortable for the 3 adults and 5 children in your party. If I may put the story straight, when you informed me that your wife had "brushed past the rope railing and some plaster came out of the wall" I replied firstly of my concern, and then said "we are not in the area, but do you think it will be an issue while you're there?" to which you replied "No it's ok, I just wanted to let you know". Therefore we sent someone round to fix it immediately, upon your check out. As I explained to you in my email, I have never previously needed to withhold any part of anyone's damage deposit, as you can see by our reviews, however, it has cost us far more than your £500, to rectify the damage caused by yourselves. Usually our guests respect our property, and it's contents. Our white Luxury Egyptian cotton towels are for bathroom use only, not the beach. These were covered in seaweed, sand, grit and tar, as was the Egyptian cotton bedding. Whilst we have spent extra time trying to clean them to try to avoid passing the cost of replacement to you, the tar won't come out, and therefore cannot be offered to future guests. Walls, cupboard doors and furniture, were smeared with yogurt etc, doing damage to the television screen. I could go on, but basically, we have found this experience not only costly, but very upsetting, and we are just so pleased that most of our guests appreciate what we offer, and many return year after year. Seaside selsey

The property is right on the edge of the beach and from the outside looks very bright clean and inviting. As soon as you open the front door you are greeted with a very fresh, clean and modern themed house. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable and a good size and the modern theme continues and it was nice to have 2 bathrooms plus an en-suite as there were 6 adults and 1four year old. Up stairs the living room has very comfortable sofas and fantastic views out to sea and balcony to relax on and take in the view. The kitchen are was very clean well kitted out and modern, the fresh loaf of bread that was left for was delicious and didn't last long lol must find the bakery next time. Overall it is a fantastic place and a great stay .We used it as a base for the Goodwood festival of speed but would not hesitate booking again for a holiday. Only one very small gripe from the wife no mirror in the bedroom for makeup but I can live with that ha ha. Well done Marie for creating such a lovely holiday destination. Thanks .Steve

Fantastic stay in Selsey

Lovely property right on the sea front. Wonderful balcony views. Friendly locals. Lots to do locally. Hidden sandy beach close by. Grandson enjoyed crabbing and the sea and sandy beach at The Oval. Never holidayed in Selsey before but will definitely be going back. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay in this holiday property.

Holiday in Selsey

Lovely location, a few yards from the pebbly beach, near the Life Boat station and next door to pleasant pub. Well equipped kitchen, thoughtful seaside-themed decor and great balcony overlooking the Channel. We enjoyed outings to Arundel Castle, the Life Boat shop, mini-golf and local Jubilee celebrations.

Lovely holiday home

We enjoyed a fantastic long weekend in this beautiful, clean, well equipped holiday home in a great location near the lifeboat station. The hosts, Marie and Steve went over and above in accommodating us to ensure our stay was memorable. The house is beautifully designed with lots of attention to detail. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge and bedrooms super comfortable. Little extras like milk, bread, butter and wine on arrival was well appreciated. Lots of family games and binoculars were provided to ensure there was never a dull moment. The view from the balcony was beautiful and we were fortunate to be able to see the lifeboat launched on two occasions over the weekend (luckily neither were serious incidents). Thank you - we hope to come back soon

Great views and a great base

Excellent holiday accommodation

From initial booking to check out, this was an excellent experience. The owners of the property were communicative, welcoming and helpful. The property is beautifully maintained, very clean and stylishly decorated. An excellent position on the seafront of East Beach afforded a welcome sea view, after a year of lockdown. I recommend 'Seaside' highly. It met our holiday requirements perfectly being close to the centre of Selsey and yet giving immediate access to the beach and The Lifeboat Pub (great for lunch). I have no adverse comments and look forward to visiting again😃

Bright and clean in a good location for visiting local area

Lovely property, very clean with everything you need and some little touches which made it a great choice. Perfectly located for Arundel Castle, Goodwood and Weald and Downlabd museum. Lovely to sit on the balcony and take in the sea view and walk along the beach.

Absolutely Fantastic!

If we could rate this 6 stars we would! The house was absolutely gorgeous and immaculate, and the views just stunning. Lovely pub right next door and a short walk into the lovely little town of Selsey. Marie was fantastic, very communicative and the check in and out process seamless. We will be recommending this to many, it was a wonderful break!

Very comfortable home by the seaside

We had a wonderful long weekend in Selsey. Marie is a very helpful host, Lovely welcome pack and also making suggestions about where to eat. The house is beautifully decorated and very well equipped for cooking in. Also lovely soft fluffy towels and slippers provided were a nice touch. Suits six perfectly.

Lovely place to stay

Good quality bedding and towels, as well as everything else. It was better quality than the photos. Comfortable bed. Interesting views watching people on the beach. Handy to walk to the shop, restaurants etc. Weather wasn’t great so the pub garden at the back didn’t bother us but it might do on warm sunny evenings.

Perfect little getaway

Sunshine at Seaside

We have had a fantastic stay at Seaside. The house was perfect, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The views over the sea and watching the lifeboat being launched from the balcony was amazing. Looking forward to a return visit.
