Beautiful Lakefront Home with Private Beach

Rustic lakefront home ideally located for exploring historic New England. The house is at the end of a private road on a 1 acre wooded lot. The house is on a wooded peninsula and surrounded by water on three sides. Most rooms include water views. There is a sandy beach that includes a dock. The gradual slope of the beach is ideal for young children. The house sleeps 8 in bedrooms and has a queen sofa bed in the living room. There is easy access to Boston via car or public transportation. The house features a spacious great room with gas fireplace, large dining room and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen.

Summer and Fall are excellent times of year to enjoy swimming in the lake or relaxing and enjoying the reflection of the fall foliage in the pond. In winter there is easy access to trails for cross country skiing. Downhill skiing & snowboarding is available at Wachusett Mountain Ski Area which is a scenic 30-minute drive. New England Sport Center is a short drive down 290. The house is also convenient to the many colleges and medical facilities in the Worcester area.

Please note this is a multi-level house. There is a flight of stairs to get to the main level and a small number of steps between areas within the house. If you have mobility issues this would not be a good fit for you.

Debra was a gracious host and a wonderful communicator. Had a small issue with house due to weather. She had the handyman on site to address within an hour and all was good. Big house. Big kitchen. The location was very private and peaceful. There was an area downstairs for hanging out together, playing pool, or just watching a movie. Upstairs our group of 5 adults and 3 kids were able to eat together in the dinning room or lounge in the living room, talking, reading, or working on the puzzle we brought. There are some items on shelves and in cabinets that seem breakable, so maybe be aware of that if traveling with small children or pets.

The space was perfect. Beautifully located on a small lake. The power went out on our first night but it came back quickly. The kitchen was well stocked but there were no supplies in the bathroom (soap, shampoo, etc). Debra was very prompt in getting back to me. Very nice property

Everything about our family's stay exceeded expectations! Plenty of room for the whole family, very well equipped kitchen as well as the outdoor grill option. Out 1 yr. old granddaughter loved the toy box and we loved the baby gate. Everyone including the dog loved the private beach. We brought kayaks and enjoyed paddling on the pond. Were pleased to find so much to do nearby as well.

Great vacation week at this house. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is huge. It was great having air conditioning. The property was beautiful, nice and shady, and we were able to do a lot of fishing, kayaking and swimming by the dock.
