Electronic locks allow for check in at whatever time your schedule requires.

Located in the heart of downtown Water Valley MS, a 2 minute walk from the critically acclaimed kitchen at the BTC Old Fashioned Grocery, and just a 20 minute drive to Oxford, MS and the Ole Miss stadium.

A great spot in a great location

We were in WV for a wedding, and this was a perfect spot for that. Great location to walk around town. Kagan gave great instructions, and parking was easy. We had no issue during our stay and would be glad to stay again next time in WV.

Water Valley hidden gem

Quaint, safe, clean and affordable. Getting tired of the prices in Oxford, check this hidden gym out. Nice courtyard overlook, coffee shop below and < 25 minutes to Oxford.

We had business in the area and booked this cute place. It was impeccably clean, quirky and located above a wonderful coffee shop. We enjoyed our private balcony overlooking the coffeehouse courtyard. One evening we were even entertained with a live performance of music from a local group. And, being from Seattle we enjoyed the smells of freshly ground coffee each morning at 6 am when the coffee shop opened.

Perfect location, great weekend

The Blu Buck Mercantile Hotel, Courtyard Room proved to be the perfect home base for my husband and I as we visited our son in Oxford. It was close enough to all the activities of a University of Mississippi college football weekend but far enough away from the hustle and bustle when we were ready to wind down. Our apartment was perfect for us, having everything we needed for our weekend and then some. The room was clean and comfortable. The owner was easy to communicate with and accessible if need be. We had time to eat at a few great places within easy walking distance such as the BTC Grocery and the Crawdad Hole…enjoyed both! The atmosphere of the area is friendly and inviting. We will definitely stay here again.

Great getaway in a small quiet town.

The room is clean and bright. Enough kitchen to cook your own simple meals. Bed was comfortable.

Quaint with the perfection location

The Blu-Buck is the perfect location for any event in Oxford at a very affordable price and less all the traffic in Oxford.. To our surprise, Water Valley has many of the quaint little shops that one would find in a town of its size. The town is a hidden Mississippi jewel. The rental process was easy and the owners communicated all information requests to us in a timely manner. Our room had lots of space and it was a mixture of modern and of my grandmother's house. While it was very clean and very quiet; the sink in the kitchen and in the bathroom could use a facelift. Also, our room did not have a closet or a wardrobe. I believe that we overlooked that fact when viewing the online photos. But, with some re-arranging of the furniture, a small wardrobe could be added to the room bringing its rating up to 5 stars!

Lovely accommodations in a friendly town

We will be back. Water Valley is a very friendly town with loads of charm and the Blu Buck is part of the quaint nostalgia. We found it a quick drive on game day from Oxford and very affordable. Nice restaurants closeby, too! Thanks for the fun weekend!
