Spectacular vacation rental across from the ocean in Carlsbad!!!

There is an ocean view from every room!

2 bedroom / 2 bath suite (1200 square feet)

*****There is construction on the upper Carlsbad beach sidewalk until late spring 2026 and then again during the winter and spring of 2027. They are replacing stairways to the beach and widening sidewalks. Nearby access points to the beach are still open and the lower seawall sidewalk on the beach is open. We are happy to confirm details and progress.******

Just across the street from the sand! Contemporary finishes - commercial appliances, retractable walls, forced air heating and air conditioning, patio with natural gas fire pit and grill on the balcony, 75' Smart TV, and super-fast, reliable internet.

There is no carpeting -- just luxurious bamboo and porcelain floors.

The units are fully furnished, the kitchens fully equipped, and the beach supplies provided.

There are 3 rental options at Carlsbad at the Beach.

1) 2nd level Pelican Suite (2 Bedroom / 2 Bath) 1,200 square feet
2) Main level Dolphin Suite (2 bedroom / 1 Bath) 900 square feet
3) Combine the 2 Suites and rent the entire Seaside residence (4 Bedroom / 3 Bath) 2,100 square feet

Each suite can be completely independent of the other - private locked entrance, private kitchen, private baths and designated patio.

NO SMOKING and NO PETS PERMITTED anywhere on the premises.

Walk 30 seconds to the beach! Walk to restaurants, the charming Village shops, the farmers' market and nightlife are all nearby!

Day Trips to: Legoland - San Diego Zoo - Sea World - San Diego Wild Animal Park - Disneyland - La Jolla Cove - casinos - wineries in Temecula

Shop at the Carlsbad Outlet Mall or at The Shoppes at Carlsbad.

Great Location

Close to everything, our family enjoyed this stay very much. The home was very clean and spacious for a small family. Walked across the street to the beach, felt safe. Enjoyed bike riding to get coffee in the morning and sitting outside on the patios in the evening.

Perfect location!

This condo was located literally steps from the beach. We had a few glitches, but Yuki and Nancy were easy to communicate with and rectified any issues we had swiftly. The only think I didn’t personally love was the open bathroom in the master bedroom. There was literally no privacy, the doors don’t seal tightly, the ceiling is open to the bedroom and if someone gets up in the middle of the night it’s very noisy and the whole room lights up. Otherwise, this place is was perfect and everything else was as expected.

Carlsbad Paradise

While we would like to keep Carlsbad and the Pelican Suite our own little secret, it wouldn't be truthful to say this was anything but an absolute perfect vacation! We will be back!

Tough to beat

You can look for a long time and not find a better location, property and view. Open floor plan with full views of the ocean - feels like you are outdoors the whole time. Only downside is traffic on the Blvd can be busy and loud on weekend. But that’s a minor trade for the location and view. House was equipped with bikes, boogie boards, surf board. We had a blast.

Absolutely perfect

This home is the perfect beach getaway! Beach access is right across the street...shops and restaurants within walking distance...and ocean views galore! The only downside was the street traffic but that seemed insignificant with how beautiful the entire space is. We cooked meals and sat on the bar outside and felt like kings. We would highly recommend!

Excellent location and beautiful home

The house is great and the location is incredible. Breathtaking views all day every day. I wanted to take the bed and pillows home with me... it was incredibly comfortable. Working with the property agency was very easy. They do a great job making sure your stay is comfortable. We spent about $300 on supplies that we didn’t need because the house is so well stocked on not just home furnishings but also recreational supplies. Show up with your swim trunks and have a good time... it has everything you need. We will defiantly return for another vacation in the next few years.

Awesome location, great home!

My family and I popped over for a long weekend stay, couldn't be happier with the proximity of the house to the beach and a short walk to restaurants and shops in Carlsbad village. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and definitely will be back, hopefully for a longer visit next time. Did not want to leave! The staff from Vacation in Carlsbad were excellent and very communicative. You won't be disappointed! Check in couldn't be simpler, not a single complaint. Thank you for a great little recharge for my family!

Easter on the beach, just perfect

The Vacation in Carlsbad team are just great! Their home on Carlsbad Blvd has it all; great view of the ocean, walking distance, and all the necessary amenities. We were able to even prepare our own gourmet Easter dinner in their beautiful kitchen. Just a perfect little weekend trip. Thank you!

Loved it , but...

We loved our stay at the Pelican Suite, location was great a short walk to a beautiful beach,shopping and restaurants . A morning walk along the ocean was spectacular as dolphins entertained you with a playful water show. My reason for the but? above in my description of Pelican Suite was the noise ...the property next door is being renovated which made it difficult to enjoy the patio due to excessive noise from staple guns throughout the day otherwise it was the perfect location. It was not something we were aware of so it would be worth asking the owner before you book. p.s. the owners were amazing and a special thank you to Nancy for her help during our stay.

Birthday bash week

Couples coming in from 3 states to celebrate my sister law 50 th BD!! She flew in from New Jersey and we had a blast . Best location across from beach . Bikes and beach tools in garage. We rode bikes into the village to shop. Used the beach chairs to relax and enjoy the ocean . Great parking ! Just the best vacs ever . Loved it and the rental team was amazing !! Great laundry with 2 sets of washers and dryers . Our party ended up renting the top and the bottom floors !! Again perfect !

Perfect spot to enjoy the beach!

This unit was perfect for our needs. Comfortable beds, fully equipped modern kitchen, plenty of room for socializing, and all the beach toys you could want. The views are spectacular, and the crosswalk and steps to the beach are directly across from the unit. Traffic is constant during the weekend, of course, since it’s directly on the highway. But it isn’t an issue at night, and it didn’t affect our enjoyment. We had a birthday celebration and all of our guests were amazed as well!
