One to two blocks from the Very clean with more than enough cooking supplies, dishwater and utensils. Good access to the beach and shopping/restaurants There was some issues with the tankless water heater but the owners were responsive in tryingTo resolve.

The home itself was terrific! No complaints about that. The hot water heat system kept on shutting off needing to be reset multiple times each day. The owners were unable to get a plumber in to rectify the problem. They offered 150 discount but honestly, I feel that’s not adequate considering being inconvenienced in cold showers everybody had. I would like to request a 300 discount, considering the lack of hot water for the home.

Regarding the hot water heater, we want to clarify that the system was functional during your stay; however, it was experiencing an intermittent issue that caused the unit to reset unexpectedly. Unfortunately, this occurred while you were in the home, and despite our efforts, we were unable to have a plumber on-site immediately during your stay. Since your departure, the issue has been fully diagnosed and repaired, and the hot water system is now operating reliably.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused, particularly having to deal with resets and inconsistent hot water. We understand how disruptive that can be and appreciate your patience while we worked to address the situation. The offered $150 discount was intended to acknowledge this disruption.

This condo was great to accodate our multigenerational family for a lacrosse tourney. It is close to the Coaster, but I didn’t hear the horn much past 930 or 10. Besides that, the location is fantastic. Close to village and ocean: I would stay again.

Our family has stayed at this property twice now. This property is beautiful and well maintained. It is clean, modern and quiet. Perfect for a relaxing vacation! The house has all the essentials you need. The communication with the property manager was seamless. Nick from Haustay Vacation Rentals made the process so easy. The location is perfect for easy access to the beach, local restaurants and shops. We walked everywhere and plan to stay again.
Great location! Easy to walk to shops, yoga, restaurants, and the beach. Beach chairs provided in the garage. The condo is large and the appliances are nice. There is not a lot of cooking supplies. Could use more towels. Mattresses were acceptable but not great. While the train is nearby, the condo is quiet at night. Overall we really enjoyed our stay would go back.

The property is beautiful and set up perfectly for our group of 6 friends/family. Perfect location in the heart of the village and close to the start for the half marathon. We had everything we needed for our quick getaway and could have used a few more days. We will plan better next time. Communication with the property managers was excellent and checkin was seamless. A Modern Gem with Exceptionally Responsive Management in CarlsbadWe just returned from a wonderful 3-day vacation in Carlsbad, and this condo was truly the highlight of our stay!The property itself is gorgeous and incredibly modern, offering a chic and comfortable atmosphere from the moment we walked in. The attention to detail in the design was fantastic. We greatly appreciated the fully functional, modern appliances, including a fantastic BBQ for grilling and a reliable coffee maker, which added significant convenience and made our short stay feel like home. The Hot Water Hiccup (and How It Was Handled)The only issue we encountered was on our second day when the tankless water heater went out. While not having hot water wasn't ideal, we want to give major praise to the management team. They were exceptionally receptive and communicative when we reported the problem. Although they were unable to resolve the issue during our short stay, they immediately compensated us fairly for the inconvenience. Final VerdictThough unforeseen mishaps are sometimes unavoidable, we genuinely feel that the overall experience was excellent. We made the best of the situation, and the positives far outweighed this single technical glitch. The condo is in a great location, it's absolutely beautiful, and having such receptive and fair management made all the difference. We highly recommend this property!

Our family of 6 stayed for 3 days at a condominium on Oak Avenue in Carlsbad. The condo was wonderful in every way. It is a 3 story unit with a 2 car garage. It is situated walking distance to the beach and various shops/restaurants. We rarely got into the car, we walked everywhere. The house was very spic and span, as spotless as an operating theater. I loved the way it was decorated, very modern and sparse. Most VRBO homes are overflowing with cheap, tacky decorations from Walmart. Not here. We felt at home right away. There was plenty of room for all of us. All the amenities worked: wifi, climate control, TV, etc. There are boogie boards and beach chairs in the garage. The youngsters spent the day at the beach with them. We ate at several of the local restaurants, so we did not do much cooking. The kitchen was well equipped to cook all manner of meals. I highly recommend staying here.
Great location to beach access, restaurants, coffee, bike rentals, ice cream, etc. Seems like it was not prepared or stocked enough for 8 people with items such as T.P., trash
bags, paper towels, trash bins in the bathrooms, towels. No dust mop for beach sand.
Neighbor pounded hard multiple times on the wall at 9:20 p.m. on a Saturday night during a movie that we were watching as a family. I walked over and asked if everything is ok. She said that it is “quite hours” and the VRBO laws…….Yadda Yadda.
We were too self conscious after that to even upset her again that we could barely hear the tv in the evenings while we wound down for the day.
All in all, in unanimous agreement, we would come back.

Regarding the quiet hours, the City of Carlsbad mandates that quiet hours are from 10 PM to 10 AM daily. This is to ensure that all residents can enjoy a peaceful environment.
