"Panelma Villa" is located just steps away from beach at the west coastline of Peloponnese. A fertile area of outstanding natural beauty and of great archaeological interest. Kato Taxiarches is a seaside settlement near the town of Zacharo. Archaeological sites, hot springs, unique natural sites and a huge sandy beach attract thousands of visitors every year. Panelma Villa consists of 4 bedrooms and accommodates max. 8 guests. Suitable for families with children, couples and group of friends.
The Space:
Placed in a quiet and safe area, Panelma Villa is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay near the sea, away from the city buzz. The elevated ground floor consists of 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom with double bed and window doors leading to a spacious veranda, an open plan space with a functionally furnished lounge/living area, fireplace, dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. The first level consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and large balconies. There are 2 double beds, 2 single beds and 1 pack’n play/travel crib (*available upon request).
Our spacious garden and large verandas are offered for celebrations of all types like weddings and kids parties. Free parking spots available inside the premises. The nearest beach is right across our facilities, at approximately 350m distance.

Apart from Zacharo town, we suggest you visit the nearby village of Kakovatos, at 5km distance. In Kakovatos you will find super market, cafeterias and don’t miss to taste fresh fish dishes at “Nikos Fish Tavern”. Another food option is “Avli Restaurant” in Naochori settlement, only 2km far from our building. The main agricultural products produced in region are raisins, olive oil, vegetables, wine (red, white and rosé), tomatoes and legumes. Amongst the many delicious local dishes, do not miss piglet, graters (small thin pasta) and boiled crabs for which the region is famous.
The area offers a complete combination of mountain, plain, sea, forest and lake, making up a landscape of unparalleled natural beauty. Holidaymakers can enjoy the sun and the sea in the beautiful well organized beach of Zacharo and indulge in water sports. Nature lovers, will love the tranquillity of the sandy (non-organized) beach near Panelma Villa. They will also have the opportunity to browse through pine forests and paddle in Kaiafas lake, located in the tranquil municipality of Zacharo, near Kalamata. The Kaiafas Thermal Springs features 2 springs located in a natural cave by the foot of Mount Lapithas. The water, coming out at 32-34 °C, is rich in sulfur compounds and minerals, with strong therapeutic properties. Here, according to mythology, Centaur Chiron washed his wounds, after wounded by Hercules. In Kaiafas baths flock every year numerous visitors to enjoy the beneficial and healing properties of its thermal waters.
