Lovely location right on the beach. Very quiet all-around spot. Very clean house, comfortable beds with soft sheets. Great spot for family gatherings and celebrations. Don and Diane were very helpful, calling close to the start of our trip and then checking in once we arrived at the property.

The cottage was very nice and well equipped. The location was spectacular with a very long deserted beach. Unfortunately, the weather was terrible - rain on 6 out of 7 days and unseasonably cold. We would have no hesitation in renting again assuming that the weather was better.

Being on Prince Edward Island was wonderful. Don was so very helpful when I was having problems with my VRBO app. He called me immediatly with all my details I needed to find his place. He also called on the day of our arrival to make sure we got there and that things were good. He was wonderful! The house was beatiful. Looking right out at the ocean. Parking was not a problem.I was able to walk my dog every morning on the beach for our morning walk. Which I loved and so did she. I have only excellent things to say about the house, location, and our host.Thank you Don. I will never forget you or your place. Donita

Incredible location for a family vacation! Diane and Don are incredible hosts and regularly checked in to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The location is gorgeous, the house is perfect for entertaining and the beach is fantastic!

The thing that makes this property so spectacular to me is number one dogs are allowed and number two the Beach access. The rooms themselves are adequate nicely appointed and have the feeling of being well lived in. It is an older style cottage and could benefit from some updates. For example, there is absolutely no space for your food and the cupboards could be cleared out of some of the things that never get used. Nevertheless saying that the fact that it is so spacious, and so beautifully positioned makes it charming.

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the privacy, being on the beach, our cottage was very clean, beds were comfortable. Loved the screened porch off the master bedroom. All good!

We had a wonderful stay at Don and Diane’s cottage in Cable Head and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful PEI getaway.From the moment we arrived, the cottage was very clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything our family needed for a relaxing vacation. Don and Diane happened to be visiting and staying in their neighbouring cottage. They were exceptional hosts—friendly, welcoming, and always available if we needed anything, yet they struck the perfect balance by giving us plenty of privacy. We genuinely enjoyed the conversations we had with them during our stay.The location is hard to beat. The beach is absolutely beautiful, and one of our favourite discoveries was being able to walk along the shore all the way to Greenwich National Park. We also brought our kayaks and were able to launch them directly from the beach for some unforgettable sunset paddles. The area is incredibly quiet and private, making it the perfect home base for exploring Prince Edward Island while still feeling like you’ve escaped from it all.Thank you, Don and Diane, for sharing your little piece of paradise with us. We made some wonderful family memories and hope to return again someday.

Perfect location

This home is a comfortable and spacious piece of heaven right on the ocean next to pristine Greenwich National Park. The owners are very attentive that you should have a pleasant stay, and you will not be disappointed. Our family did not want to leave.

The house was extremely comfortable with comfy couches and beds. The kitchen was very well stocked. I loved being able to open all the doors in the morning and go outside for coffee on the deck or balconies! My dog definitely loved the house as well. We saw some beautiful sunsets right in the backyard. Thanks for a great stay!

So peaceful and relaxing!

Our family had an amazing week at this gem of a location in PEI. Our host could not have been more welcoming and friendly and their home was perfect for our family getaway! The views were gorgeous and the sunrise and sunsets out of this world! We loved this little paradise and hope to go back again.

Wonderful two-week visit!

Great spot - gorgeous view, amazing beach a short walk away, Greenwich National Seashore is incredible, house's location is remote, which was a huge plus for us; moreover, everything you'd want to visit is within an hour's drive - great golf (especially Crowbush Cove), Basin Head Beach, Charlottetown, etc. We retired in July and wanted to take a trip after settling into our retirement home and this was a perfect getaway!

Great Stay

Everything was great, had everything we needed. Don was great and easy to get hold of and very accommodating. The sunsets are amazing at this place and the ocean front and the beach down the road were awesome . We celebrated our 25 years here and was amazing and very relaxing by the water . The seafood shack in Morell to eat was incredible
