Ultra stylish and super quirky Royal Mile apartment located in the heart of historic Old Town. This flat used to accommodate David Bowie, Lindsay Kemp, Jack Birkett, the Mersey Beats and the Scaffold!

Stay in the famous, lively and charming area with the best shops, restaurants and pubs around.

Walk to Edinburgh Castle, St Gile's Cathedral, Holyrood Palace or New Parliament within 5-10 minutes or cross Waverley Bridge and discover the Unesco New Town on foot.

Relive art history! In the 1960's and 1970's this apartment was a hive of activity with numerous artists hanging out here all the time. Many artists stayed and visited regularly and became close friends with me.

Suited us fine!

This apartment suited our needs well is it was in between our daughters apartment and most Edinburgh attractions. Walkable or short bus ride to everything. As others mentioned in past it is a loud busy corner and I would not recommend for light sleeper or noise sensitive person. Only other downside is that it wasn’t well equipped with extras. You only get bare minimum of soap, toilet paper, etc. so plan accordingly.

Unforgettable space and perfect location!

What a unique and fun flat! I found it to be perfect for my week stay in Scotland. I could walk everywhere (Old Town, New Town, Edinburgh Castle…) and took the Airlink 100 bus to and from the airport. And I felt like a local, which is kinda cool! Durning the week I enjoyed restaurants of course, but also loved that I could cook in using the kitchen space and prepared dinner a few nights. (Short walk to grocery). And the cafe and pizza place literally 2 steps away was convenient, delicious and amazing!! The bathroom was roomy and clean! The bedroom was cozy and clean! My only suggestions would be to maybe update the dining chairs as they are a little unstable and maybe replace and add a little more seating in the living room. Also adding another light source in the bedroom would be great! And maybe leave instructions on how to use the thermostat to control the temp. I would definitely book this space again!! And I would definitely recommend!!
