The apartment was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location was ideal and we were able to walk to wherever we wanted to go or catch nearby transit.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Check-in, communication
It was a great space, the bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of room. It did smell like someone spilled an entire bottle of cologne in the living room and there was often the smell of rubbing alcohol - possibly through the vents from a neighboring flat. The biggest negative was that you MUST complete their "boarding pass" before they let you check in. They don't say this though, they just say to do it to help check in to go more smoothly. Since the Boarding Pass they asked me to complete was a 3rd party link, which VRBO says never to click on, and they require you to take a picture and upload your government ID, which is extremely insecure, I didn't do it. Because of that, they never sent me check-in information. I had to connect to public WiFi to try and communicate with them. They responded only once through the VRBO app saying that I had to complete the Boarding Pass (now over public WiFi!!) and ignored my follow up questions. This was very frustrating and delayed our check-in by a half an hour.
I would recommend this place. If I ever get to go back to Edinburgh I will try to book here. Location couldn’t be better. Stores and food is abundant. I loved this apartment location on ground floor. Very pretty apartment.
Cozy apartment. Close to bus stop. Walking distance to everything.
My family of 4 (adults) stayed in October 2024. We arrived at night but were given very detailed instructions on how to get in the apartment. We took a Airlink bus from airport to Shandwick place, and this apartment was about 2-minute walk from there. We walked all over the city and found this to be a perfect location. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Great location. We rented a car so we could spend at least one day in the Highlands. We used the Omni Centre car park - which was about a mile walk away from the property. Great walk each day through the heart of Edinburgh. Property is close to the castle, shopping, restaurants. Property was clean - perfect for my wife and I. Loved it!
This was a fabulous flat to stay at. It was within walking distance of everything and within 2 blocks of the Edinburgh tram which was so convenient. The property was clean and well stocked. Instructions were simple and easy to follow. I would definitely stay again if i have the chance
Clean, cute, well located - quiet street, with little shops nearby. Check in and out was simple. Nicely appointed. Bed was comfortable . We’ve had many places claim the bed was soft, but not true. This one kept the promise (if a queen size fits your needs)Small annoyances: The shower could benefit from some nonslip matt or material. The appliances were momentarily confusing as they’re not like ours in our own country - instructions would help. We were annoyed by the locked thermostat - they have a 20-minute boost option, though. We only got marginally cold - but it was only September. Also, be aware this is the basement unit. We had to go down some stairs, difficult for those with disabilities. But certainly far better than our last rental in Edinburgh
Property is in a good location close to everything. We had a car and had no trouble finding metered parking in front of the property. My only suggestion would be it was a bit cold and we were not able to turn the heat up. The management company was very responsive when we were not able to lock the door. It was not the fault of the property we were unfamiliar with this type of lock so had a little trouble. The management company explain everything and everything was ok.
Nice house, close to the city centre. A bit too "cold" as we went during Christmas but there were no decorations or nothing festive. Very official, not cozy at all. Maybe invest a bit more in cutlery and kitchen accesories. A light outside as in the dark is difficult with the stairs. The big minus was the temperature in the house. 15 degrees and the heating is set in such way that if you don't press the button every 15 minutes, the heating switches off. Is says there is a timer that turns the heating on, but that's not true. A big plus for the bedroom bed.

Nice but the devil is in the details
Nicely decorated and contemporary, however this property rates lowest in our experience in Scotland over 3 weeks of numerous guest houses/BnB’s for the following 2 reasons.
1) on street parking. Advertised as paid on street parking during day/free overnight. However parking is limited to 4 hours at a time during the day (with 1 hour no return) and cost 23GBP for the 4 hour privilege. Coins only, no cash or card. There is an App however it cannot be downloaded from Apple App Store, the link in the website to access the app is also broken. So you’re left with paying with coins or calling a phone number with an IVR service that struggles with accents. This process impacted our planning and we were 10 mins late once and we copped a charming 100GBP fine.
2) heating, we would rather pay more and have access to fully control thermostat. House was cold on the predetermined settings and the “30 minute boost” we were allowed to activate was not sufficient to keep the house warm, especially when returning from a day or evening out. Every other place we stayed at over 3 weeks did not have this limitation.
Other than these challenges, the house was nice, well appointed and a quiet street close enough to the action of old and new town. So would ideally suit someone who doesn’t have a car to manage.
Property was as advertised! Great location close to transportation, dining and shops! Property manager provided severals suggestions for dining that were great! Apartment had everything needed for the stay. Only slight negative was the thermostat instructions were not very clear on how to operate to get the heaters to come on. They only came on for a short time then turned off. Would definitely book this place again!!
