Cabin was very cozy and clean. Hot Tub was very nice. Loved the bar set up in the basement. Host had great communication . Would definitely stay again.
We loved absolutely everything about this place!! Plenty of space to spread out and enough sleeping space/bathrooms for all. The hot tub was great bonus. It was further from Deadwood than we would've liked, but overall it was perfect for our group. Would totally recommend!!
Enjoyed everything about the house. The beds were very comfortable, the showers were great! Awesome views of wild life and scenery from the deck. Great fire pit and hot tub on the patio, handy having the mini kitchen close by. Would definitely stay again!
The place was very close to everything while still feeling secluded. It was well furnished, beds comfortable, very clean, no problems. Owners were amazing. Jacuzzi was great. It was a pleasant stay. Will come back.
We took our aging parents on a trip to the Black Hills to see places that they visited 20+ years before. The house was a great place to be together and yet have separate space when needed.
Beautiful and quiet house in the black hills. Large driveway, we had 2 trucks and 2 trailers no problem. Large open main room, bar in the basement. Hot tub and plenty of outside seating. Come down the hill, Turn left and it’s only a couple miles to Deadwood. Turn right and you drive about 9 miles straight into Stergis. Great communication with the owner and caretaker. Thank you for a perfect stay. Will come again
House was great! Spacious with an awesome view! Hottub was a hit!One thing the listing says is that it’s a 10 min walk to downtown Deadwood. It is more like a 5-10 min drive to downtown Deadwood. Worked out fine because there is parking however it is not in walking distance.
The house and amenities were top notch. The area is very quiet and you feel secluded, yet you’re only ten to fifteen minutes away from all the action in Deadwood. Not much more than that to Sturgis. Great place.
My husband and I were here for a few days in September. The property is wonderful. There are plenty of outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy the view. We saw lots of deer come near the property. There were a couple of them just a few yards away one evening while I was sitting in the hot tub! The house had everything we needed, except we did have a little trouble finding one of the TV remotes. We slept on the main floor bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. This property was just 5 minutes from the town of Deadwood, close enough to the casinos and shops but remote enough to enjoy peace and quiet. We would love to visit here again.
We enjoyed our stay in this clean property. We felt the property offered pretty good privacy. It is in kind of a neighborhood in the hills, but the neighbors are spaced out pretty far.
We had wondered in advance what the 4th bedroom would be like because it is not photographed. Rest assured that it is a completely normal queen bedroom.
If we could ask for one change here, it would be related to bed comfort.
I really appreciated that my contact answered my call upon arrival when we had gotten ourselves a little lost. Her help put us right back on track to find the cabin then easily check in.
We very much enjoyed our stay! The beds are very comfortable and accomodations were plentiful!!A couple of fyi's:*You can't run two heaters at once downstairs as it kicks the breaker. This was an inconvenience as it was really cold down there. *The ceiling light upstairs was burned out. *A lot of wasps around the porch. Thought you would like to know.
