Villa La Estrella is a delightful, bright and spacious 4 bedroom detached villa in a tranquil and very private location. The villa has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and is fully Air Conditioned. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with separate shower enclosure and the 2nd bedroom has a super king bed and ensuite shower room and the 3rd bedroom has two single beds and the 4th Bedroom it has a king size bed and ensuite shower room This tastefully designed villa is spacious and would be ideal for families and friends looking for a relaxing and quality holiday. The Large lounge area is comfortable and inviting with a large flat screen TV, BBC1/2,ITV, Ch4, RTE1/2, Sky SPORTS and MOVIES. The villa has a fully equipped modern kitchen. Relax and enjoy the private south facing sun terraces, then unwind in your own hot tub jacuzzi and for the more energetic you have an American Pool table and Table tennis to enjoy, then dine under the stars and enjoy that ‘alfresco’ dining experience. Free WIFI is available throughout the villa

Exterior: This detached villa is private with mature landscaped gardens. The expansive south facing terrace has a private pool which is electrically heated (important during the winter months) and is furnished with comfortable sun loungers. Why not immerse yourself in your own warm water therapeutic spa jacuzzi combining an experience that is both rejuvenating and healing whilst washing away muscle and joint pains with hydro massage water jets.

Location: Just a short walk from the Villa you will find supermarkets, shops, good restaurants, tapas bars, and a taxi rank. Villa La Estrella is near the spectacular 5km of golden beaches of Puerto Del Carmen with its palm trees and rocky divides. The picturesque old fishing port of the Old Town is also close by, a favorite spot to enjoy the local wine or sample one of the many excellent seafood restaurants.

Puerto Del Carmen lies centrally and is a coastal area making it perfect for reaching the Island’s many beautiful attractions and beaches. Arrecife is the lively capital of the Island boasting some excellent shopping and is only a 15 minute drive. The beautiful international marina at Puerto Calero with a wealth of excellent restaurants and marine excursions is a 10 minute drive.

Fantastic Holiday in Beautiful and Well Equipped Villa

The Villa is amazing!! We read the reviews from before and can see that the upgrade process mentioned is in full swing as the kitchen and two of the bathrooms looked and felt brand new. The bed was the most comfortable of any villa I have stayed in and the facilities were spot on. The pool was the prefect temperature and the pool table and hot tub added advantages, both of which were used regularly and the barbecue was also great, although would benefit from some form of lighting if possible as we barbecued at night. The centre of Puerto Del Carmen is around a 15-20 walk and offers a huge range of nightlife, restaurants, bars and the beach. It is a downhill walk and cabs back are only 4.5 Euros. Overall we loved our time there and are likely to visit again.

Fantastic Villa

Jill was nothing incredibly helpful and communicative through the booking process and whilst we were staying in the villa. The villa itself is beautiful. Whilst there is a small area of damp in the main living area, that cannot be helped with the change in climate. It didn’t affect our stay at all. The pool, hot tub and oool table were great additions and the bedrooms were fabulous. The beds were the best we have experienced across many villa holidays. The only reason I am scoring 4 out of 5 is due to the location being just a little further out than we would ideally like, but taxis are easily accessible in the main town. Finally, one small suggestion from our grown up children was that when trying to watch TV on nights we didn’t go out, there was sun glare, so a curtain or blinds would help across the patio doors. Wry minor point, but worth noting if you do want to make the most of the huge TV available. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your fabulous villa!

Nice but disappointing

Property needs some renovation to the kitchen and outdoor furniture/leisure activities, which let it down; items broken and missing meant there isn’t a full 6 piece set of crockery, kitchen knives are no longer sharp, the blender is broken as we’re some cooking utensils, so no breakfast smoothies and the breakfast bar is dangerous and can’t be used. Only 5 working sun beds, there was 6 of us and a 2 seater broken, cushions rotten and peeling paint spoilt a potentially lovely outside space, table tennis and pool tables are sun damaged but playable (just), also the bbq was filthy and even after it was ‘re-cleaned’ we felt unable to risk using it - with a little care & attention, these issues should have been resolved prior to our visit, we paid enough but sadly they were left for us to raise as a complaint, which no one wants to do when on holiday - our host was nothing short of brusque and condescending and unfortunately blamed her staff.. I would rather an honest apology but she suggested there was no time for rectifying the issues as she was back to back with customers, clearly prioritising profit over customer comfort & satisfaction imo. Having said that the Villa has been beautiful, when new, the bedrooms are all spacious and tasteful, boasting large, comfortable beds and robust showers, the living/dining area is spacious and opens up onto the outdoor space, which is lovely & quiet and the pool is fantastic, and hot tub a very welcome addition, especially during the cooler winter months, both are cleaned regularly. Location quiet, taking about 20 minutes to walk into the seaside resort. Overall we enjoyed our stay and made the most of it.

I would like to start by apologizing to you for not meeting your expectations. We strive to make each stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible and we will use your comments to provide a better holiday experience in the future. In between bookings we are proceeding with a €100,000 renovation and obviously some of the points you raised had still not yet been completed. We were away from Lanzarote when you arrived from an unexpected trip to the uk, the crockery was replaced upon our return and new sunbeds already supplied and fitted. The BBQ, although old, is functional and our future design is a fully integrated bar and built in BBQ later in the year Table tennis and pool table are slightly off colour due to the sun but are perfectly usable. Villa Estrella is a popular villa and the guests before your booking and the guests after you have both booked future holidays in this villa. Our investment in this villa after a difficult 2 year covid period is substantial and I totally reject your comments of prioritising profits over guest satisfaction and we continue to have the very highest number of returning guests which is partially due to our conscientious and hardworking team that are fully appreciated and valued and are instrumental in achieving our high percentage of repeat guests Just a final comment We organised and delivered a bouquet of Flowers for a celebration, organised the purchase of a bottle of special champagne and reacted instantly to the complaint of the BBQ not being clean enough. (although it had been previously cleaned) but did not receive any sign of thanks.. Again, thank you for sharing your comments, all of which have been addressed. and if we can be of any further assistance to you, please contact us Jill and Roy

Paradise

The property was well located. It was well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and playing table tennis. We have been to Lanzarote before but stayed in a hotel. Next time we will definitely try to come back to this villa. Would highly recommend.

Lovely villa in good location. Particularly enjoyed the swimming pool, hot tub and table tennis. Couple issues at villa however sorted by manage pretty much immediately. Woukd definitely consider again.

October/ November break

The Villa was great. It had everything we needed and plenty of space inside and out. We were 3 couples holidaying for a week.The heated pool was a bonus. We walked down into town and usually got a taxi home.

Great villa

Great villa that was very clean with comfortable beds. The towels and sheets where changed every couple of day and the pool was also cleaned regularly. Nice little walk to the old town or the strip and would use villa Estrella again. No negatives to say about the villa. Very good holiday.

Fantastic Villa

From the moment we booked with Jill she has been fantastic in her communications, even with the numerous questions and queries I had! All the information sent before we arrived was perfect allowing us to check in very easily (even though we were a bit early). The villa was spotless when we arrived and we were immediately struck by how much room there was. It is decorated very nicely with just the right amount of furniture so you dont lose any of the spacious feel. Plus the tv package and wifi kept our teenage son happy when he was too hot to go outside! All the bedrooms are great, all done nicely and beds very comfortable - plus plenty of wardrobe space. Outside is just fantastic, a well looked after pool that is a great size (cleaned every few days), pool table, hot tub, table tennis, bbq and plenty of sunbeds / seating with shaded areas to escape the sun. The area is very quiet and we felt very secure there. It is about 15 to 20 mins walk to the shops / bars but can be quite tough in the heat but equally the local taxi service was excellent and picked up within 5 mins and only cost about 3euros down to the old town harbour. It was our first ever visit to Lanzarote and staying in this villa made us feel right at home, so much so before we left we were already in communication with Jill about going back next year as we loved it so much. We even met a lovely neighbour who lived opposite who invited us in to villa and was there to wave us off when we left. And finally a special mention to Lyn and Subrina who came 3 times during our stay to change towels / bedding, they were such lovely ladies and helped make our stay so comfortable. All in all a fantastic holiday in a fantastic villa.

Really cannot fault this villa in any way .One of the best we have stayed in. way.

Villa is exceptionally high standard ....spotlessly clean and very fresh on our arrival. The bed linen and towels are a very high standard (very comfortable) Outside area is exceptional with hot tub ,pool table and table tennis as well a a lovely heated pool .very comfortable sun lounges to laze away the days .All within a 10-15 minute walk to town .Jill and Roy are excellent hosts and nothing seems too much trouble (even when we locked ourselves out !!) Would definitely recommend and hope to be back very soon .
