About this property

Very large farmhouse (XVIIIth century) restored typical Jura for up to 14 people.
The cottage is located in the Haut Jura on the heights of the village of Foncine le bas, at the foot of Mont Noir. Nature is present at 360 degrees, offering landscapes of meadows, forests and mountains. You will stay in an exceptional setting in the calm of unspoiled nature.

The cottage, tastefully decorated in a family house, has a very large room (100 m2) consisting of a living room fireplace, a kitchen, a dining room with wood stove. The cottage also has a tv lounge, 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets and large mezzanines offering additional beds. The garden of 4000 m² is equipped with a private parking, a barbecue, lounge and garden table.
The activities are numerous: walks, cycling and cross-country skiing from the house, downhill skiing 10 km, cross-country skiing on the most famous tracks of the Jura to 5 km.
Gastronomy is everywhere in the small surrounding villages: dairy in the village, cheese and local products to discover.
Additional charges: consumption of electricity calculated on meter reading at the entrance and exit.

Un havre de paix dans la campagne jurassienne

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine à 2 familles dans ce chalet . Pieces communes spacieuses, nombreuses chambres; jardin avec belle vue sur les près. Attention, seulement deux salle de bain. Nous avons appréciés les nombreux guides, dépliants et carte laissés par l'hote pour organiser notre séjour.

Il est dommage que les WC se trouvent dans les salles de bain : pas facile quand on est nombreux.

Semaine de vacances en famille

Séjour agréable et très calme dans cette ancienne et immense ferme qui est un vrai musée plein de merveilles. Les enfants ont adoré dormir dans le dortoir. Petits points négatifs: Literies anciennes et cuisine petite pour cuisiner pour 13. Attention: l'électricité est à payer en plus. Mais le grand volume a été un vrai plus car notre séjour a été bien pluvieux et frais. Nous aurons aimé tout de même avoir le droit de faire un petit feu.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette Maison très agréable et spacieuse. La propriétaire est très accueillante, et elle nous a même renvoyé des affaires que nous avions oubliées.
