Such a wonderful property with beautiful landscaping outside and a very nice layout inside. It was perfect for our stay and we really enjoyed relaxing on the back patio looking at the garden and trees. Best place to stay in this area!

Loved being in this 3 bedroom guest house behind the owners main house. Great back deck to have coffee in the morning. Full kitchen, comfortable bedding, washer/dryer. Driveway is private and behind a fenced gate.Plenty of privacy, but also felt like I would have immediate service/response if needed (which we did not). This was second time staying at this location while visiting out daughter in Portland, and am already looking forward to our next stay.

The property was nestled in a lovely neighborhood, conveniently located right off an exit and met our needs to a tee! We were able to cook dinner and host family on our first night there. There was room for all 5 adults to spread out. Loved the laundry facilities and super soft sheets. Thanks for hosting us.

The location worked very well for our needs. Communication great with the host and both check-in and check-out were very smooth. The space was warm and comfortable, with many basic necessities provided, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home. Overall, it served its purpose very well for our stay.

We were very pleased with the location of the house as it was 2 blocks from a bus stop to downtown Portland, 2 blocks from a city recreation center, and a 5 min drive to our daughter's house. The size of the house with 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 bath was very comfortable with airconditioning and fans. The landscape surrounding the house was large redwood trees, pines, and a vegetable garden with a basketball hoop and swing set. The house was located near a freeway entrance but we never heard traffic from there. The kitchen and laundry were well equipped. Both hosts responded quickly and fixed two areas that we felt needed additional cleaning. Three grocery stores, a Powell's bookstore, restaurants, art store, movie theater, and drugstore were within 10 min. driving to a couple malls.

Amazing Guest House!

My stay was phenomenal! The place was private, spacious, and just a very short drive away from Portland!The owners were very nice and accommodating and I would 100% recommend staying here.

Bill and Marina were very gracious hosts. The place was clean, cozy and the kitchen had everything one needs to cook for a family. We moved to Portland over 20 years ago, raised a family here and are now empty nesters with our dog, Bentley. This is an amazing location and ranch style property that we can enjoy homegrown food from the garden and relaxing in our outdoor living space. We love being outdoors and enjoying all the Pacific Northwest has to offer. We can be skiing all year long at Mt. Hood and that same day go for an evening walk at the Oregon Coast. We enjoy hosting individuals and families in our guesthouse and letting them experience the best that Portland and great Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Why they chose this property

The location is so convenient to everything, it is an ideal spot, close enough to walk to restaurants and parks. 10 minutes to downtown Portland and NIKE World Headquarters down a couple miles away on Walker Rd. Walking distance to St. Vincent Hospital. Great schools and a wonderful quiet, peaceful neighborhood.

What makes this property unique

Large, secluded acre lot in SW Portland on the border of Beaverton just off the 217 freeway. Large evergreen trees and plenty of parking.
