Beautiful House in the West Hills of Portland

Consider this house your home away from home while visiting Portland. This shoes-free home has four comfortable bedrooms featuring full beds and three bathrooms, guests can easily unwind after a day of exploring. With both a spacious living room and a peaceful family area, this peaceful retreat offers plenty of room for families or groups to spread out and enjoy their time together. To preserve the tranquil and relaxing atmosphere of the home, we have no TV's in the house. We have 1Gbps WiFi. A great place to call home base while you're away, we hope you enjoy your stay. This home offers a laundry room, plenty of storage areas, and a choice of dining bar or formal dining area. This property is 10-15 minutes from downtown Portland's shopping areas, hiking trails around Pittock Mansion, the Rose Garden, and the Oregon Zoo. The beautiful home is on a serene lot of 1/3 acres with gorgeous views to the back from the deck. Parks, tennis courts, picnic areas, and nature trails, within a short walk. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place.

Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
There is no need to make-up or strip the beds. Please place all used towels in the baskets located in the laundry room. Please ensure that the dishes are done. Turn off all lights and appliances.
Please remove garbage from all areas in the house. Garbage/recycle bins are located west side of the garage. Bins are labeled. Please don’t leave garbage unsecured outside as this attracts wildlife.
Leave the keys on the dining table and exit the front door. Please leave me a message letting me know you have checked out.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Cleanliness: Do not wear shoes in the house. Please, no food or beverages in bedrooms or downstairs areas.
No use of the wood-burning fireplace is allowed.

The kitchen is small and not well equipped. Some of the beds are quite high off the floor, making it difficult for some people. There were ants in the primary bathroom. The shower is difficult to get into and out of also. The backyard is beautiful, but there is no access to the backyard for visitors. There are no televisions, which bothered some of our guests. The pillows are flat and need replaced, some of the towels are thin and fairly small in size. The iron wasn't working but the host replaced it quickly. There was plenty of hot water, the property is private and was well located for our needs.

Check in was very easy because Rosie came over to meet us and to show us around the house. It is a very nice touch. Previous client noted that the entrances not indicative of the house. That's true and it is difficult to see the first time in the dark. I hope they will consider putting a flag or something on the mailbox to make it a little easier did you find the driveway. The house was lovely and did not miss a television. The kitchen is small it had everything you need. All in all it's a great place to stay.

Indeed it is a beautiful house. However the house entrance does not complement the interior of the home. I also noticed that there is no TV. For me it’s not a must, but I wonder how a family with children will manage. Overall I it is a very nice place to stay with family and friends .
