Garden Cottage is a ground floor, detached cottage nestled near the village of Castle Douglas. Inside you will find two bedrooms, comprising two double beds. There is also a modern shower room, with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Finally, there is a brightly-decorated living room, with a kitchen, dining area and sitting room with an electric fire. Outside, you will find ample road side parking and a small garden area with seating. Garden Cottage is a wonderful base for a romantic getaway or a small family break.

Wonderful Cottage

From outside the cottage looks small but it isn't. We did move some of the furniture around to make it more cosier and also let the radiators do their job easier.... put it all back before leaving. The beds are comfy but we did find that early mornings are no good for us, maybe blinds also in the bedrooms for light sleepers. The kitchen is well equipped. The TV is a bit small and half of the channels we get at home are missing due to the TV mast not being commercial. We were ok as have many TV apps on our laptop We had a very relaxing stay and hope to be booking again. A trip to Irving's bakery shop on the industrial estate is a must !!
