Looking for a laid-back getaway in South Hobart? Welcome to Cascade View! We've got two comfy studio suites, tucked away in a cool converted sandstone stable. Each suite comes with a kitchenette, queen bed, bathroom, and its own private deck - all the essentials without the fuss.

We're not far from the action either. A quick drive gets you to Salamanca, Constitution Dock, and the Hobart Central Business District. But if you prefer walking, the iconic Cascade Brewery, beautiful Cascade Gardens, and historic Cascades Female Factory are just a three-minute stroll away. Don't miss the Hobart Rivulet Walk, a local favourite, winding its way from our neighbourhood to the city centre.

South Hobart's got plenty to offer with its local shops, cafes, and restaurants. Plus, we're just a short drive from Battery Point, Sullivans Cove, Sandy Bay, and the Wrest Point.

Great location close to the city

Property is tidy and ideal for a short stay in Hobart. Close to the city. We had a car and location was great to explore the area around Hobart. Close to shops and two great coffee shops that serve excellent coffee and breakfasts.

Cosy stone studio off Cascade Road

A quiet & private space with a very comfortable bed & good kitchenette facilities. Limited natural lighting & ventilation but adequate. A very pleasant place to stay.

Cosy little spot

Small but cosy, comfy bed, good amenities and nice little back deck. Only watch out for light sleepers is that ceiling isn’t particularly well insulated from noise in room above.

Cottage in the city

A very cosy and comfy cottage style room close to the city but far enough away for peace and quiet. Tucked away off the street, the owners have thought of everything, with a small stocked kitchenette if you want to stay in for breakfast and a lovely outdoor seating area for warming in the sunshine. Wish we'd had a longer stay. Check in was friendly and easy.

Beautiful little unit tucked away in gorgeous part of Hobart!

We had a wonderful stay, thank you so much. I used to live in Hobart so it was beautiful to visit and have such a gorgeous place to stay in. The proximity to the rivulet track and Cascade Gardens was such a plus! We walked into the city and back many times. Loved the grape vine over the deck outside and the renovated stables created a beautiful little space for us to rest in and enjoy over our long weekend. Would definitely stay again! - Bon and Max

Close to every thing. Cute little place.

Every thing worked out well but could not get contact with the owner. Arrived and all was good but reinforcement and a owners phone number prior to the trip would give me more confidence that every thing is under control. Overall satisfied with accodation.

Place was neat, but water dripped wetting all our clothes on the clothes rack. Sound from upstairs was distracting as even conversational level noise came clearly through. Location was great, access instructions easy.

Hobart Farewell Stay

We thought the property was just right for 2 people who didn’t need to cook as we were happy to eat out. It was cosy and comfortable and didn’t feel cramped. Close to the city and the shops weren’t too far away. We enjoyed our stay before going home. Thanks very much!
