Nutley Cottage is a fully self contained 2 bedroom cottage just a short walk from beautiful Bermagui it is well equipped with most things you could possibly require during your stay.
Nestled in a picturesque setting overlooking Jaggers Bay on the Bermagui River you can enjoy bush walking. cycling fishing, swimming or simply sit back and relax in the peace and tranquility that surrounds you.
Upon arrival you are supplied with all linen. fresh flowers a selection of breakfast items, sweets,seasonal fresh fruit and much more.
Nutley Cottage has ample off road parking for cars,boats trailers etc


Local Attractions.

Bermagui is blessed with many pristine beaches and fine eateries including the " Clay Cafe and Mudworks", Morissons,Mimosa Winery, Il Passaggio, Saltwater or the Beach Hotel ( just to name a few)with its spectacular views over Horseshoe Bay where many a whale and dolphin can be seen to frolic from the verandah.
Bermagui also offers many Fishing and Whale watching Charter vessels, nature is at your door step, lyrebirds and a wealth of other birdlife surround your lodgings with occasional visits from goannas, wallabies and possums.
Take an historical tour of the Montreal Goldfields or just enjoy the scenic coastal walk or simply do nothing just relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle.

Bermagui is just a short drive from the historical village of Central Tilba with many interesting little curiosity shops and
on the way. why not call into the renowned Foxglove Spires and have a magical wander through the fabulous gardens and enjoy a great meal or coffee at Love @ 1st Bite while you are there.
To the south we have Mimosa Winery, Georgies Cucina and many galleries to visit or explore the small township of Cobargo to the west which has some interesting shops to offer

Nutley Cottage truly was blissful. So peaceful and tranquil and nestled in the trees. The cottage was so comfy and cosy and so well stocked, the hosts have thought of every detail. Can't wait to book another stay and will stay for longer. Thank you, it was a gorgeous stay.

Get your walking shoes on

The cottage is very close to the state forest, with lovely walking trails. And you can walk to the Bermagui River from the Cottage. Or you can just sit on the deck, listen to the bellbirds and see glimpses of the river through the trees

Cosy bush cabin

Private basic cabin in amongst the gum trees, Heather's place was a good base for exploring the area. The furnishings are nothing fancy, but perfectly adequate for a comfortable few days. We appreciated the wine, chocolates, flowers, bread, croissants, snacks and extras supplied by Heather. A small space to store our own food items would have been great. Would recommend the coffee and pizza van at the entrance to the property.

A great spot to stay with your pooch in Bermagui

Heather was a fabulous host - they really understand how to cater for the needs of dogs and people. I brought my husband, two teenage daughters, and very old dachshund for a short stay and the property had everything we needed. I loved the fact there was no wifi - we were able to really switch off from devices. Heather's hospitality was really wonderful with all the necessities provided. Very generous and thoughtful.

The perfect, cosy, peaceful little getaway in nature for our family. Comfortable and welcoming.

It was really nice to arrive to the cottage already warm in the late afternoon. Fresh cut flowers, a bowl of fruit, croissants and so many other little touches and things to make the cottage feel like our own little home away from home. Waking to the beautiful bird calls, relaxing and watching the sparkle on the river and the peace of the bush all around. Our family really enjoyed walks down to the private jetty and some fun around the pool table and dart board. Such a lovely stay and close enough for us to ride our bikes to town while still feeling like you’re out in the peace of nature.

Perfect location for families and couples alike

We were blown away with the homeliness and personal touches (and fresh croissants!) on arrival but that was just the beginning of our wonderful stay. Pool table, darts and games for the teens, peaceful balcony with forest and river views, what get like our own personal coffee van out front. But that’s not all, when our local family was caught up in the recent fires, Heather was extremely understanding, extending our stay and offering g support. We can’t speak highly enough about our experience. Thank you Heather.

Bush property with tranquil Jaggers Bay views

The accomodation had a house sit feel to it. The decor, furniture and other items are from various eras and although we did not bring a dog, it was noted that pets were allowed inside. We received a generous bowl of fresh fruit, delicious croissants, bread, jam and a bottle of wine on arrival which were much appreciated. The natural bush block leads down to Jaggers Bay which is tranquil and relaxing. Bird sounds are constant and plentiful from early morning. We also saw a wallaby, jumping fish and a turtle while staying at this property.

Absolutely quiet and beautiful

A Great little cottage with everything you need. The host welcomed us with a nice fruit basket. They had a hamper full of snacks ready as well. Also had fresh croissants, bread and butter, milk etc for the breakfast so we could relax after a long drive without worrying about next morning breakfast. The cottage is very clean. Has everything you need so you would only need bring your personal belongings. The cottage is only about 5 minutes from the main beach and shops. There are quite few offleash areas for your dogs. Lots of bike and walking tracks to explore. The blue pool is only an absolute beauty. Very friendly people. There is a big Woolworths close by. Local pub is nice too. We had a very relaxing 4 days. That's what exactly we needed. Highly recommended and will definitely return.

We really enjoyed our time at the cottage. It’s beautifully surrounded by nature and well located. Birds and kangaroos say hi every morning. Host was amazingly generous with groceries and beautiful little details. Good value for price.

This cabin is my happy place. If you want to relax and just be in nature, surrounded by peace, lulled by the bellbirds, then this is the place for you. Heather is a thoughtful host, you feel welcome yet are given space to get away from it all. Thanks again. We hope to come back again every year.

Wonderful

What a beautiful location. Perfect little cottage for a small family and dog. Easy to communicate with Heather. Greatly appreciated the fruit, chocolates, food etc left to enjoy. Waking to bellbirds, gang gang cockatoos, kookaburras and many others was beautiful. Our dog loved running down to the river every morning. We adore the region which has pristine bushland, beaches and cute towns. Thank you for a lovely stay! Miriam

Heather goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Ruby and Ash (cows) visit regularly and are very friendly. So many young wallabies also came to visit.Blissfully peaceful..

Serenity amongst the gum trees

We thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to Nutley Cottage and plan to book again. Hidden in the bush, enjoying sitting on the back porch listening to the Bell birds and only a 30 minute walk to downtown Bermagui makes it the perfect escape for us. We love that we can bring our Labrador and our teenage boys particularly enjoyed playing pool.

Cosy stay in beautiful location

Loved sitting on the verandah listening to birdsong and watching wallabies. Only minutes from town but so peaceful. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and more. Highly recommend the wood fired pizzas at the turnoff too.
