About this property

Beautiful beachside house and garden - 2 minutes from the beach!

Lovely original beach house set in a stunning front and back garden with views of Wallaga Lake which allows up to 2 dogs to stay. Nature abounds in this quiet small hamlet of Beauty Point with a number of coastal and lakeside walks outside your doorstep such as Wallaga Lake itself or close by to the awesome beach of Camel Rock and Murunna Point. You can swim or surf most of the year round at the beach and inlets due to the regions temperate climate.

We are just down the road from the historic town Tilba Tilba located on the side of the majestic Gulaga Mountain. It is a short 25 min drive to some awesome mountain bike tracks located just north of Narooma. It is a short 5 minute drive to Bermagui for all the local services you need or alternatively you can do a 20 min bike ride just behind the beach to get there. The house itself is designed for indoor/outdoor living with good flow through when windows are open and a large deck out the front and small patio out the back for sitting in the sun.

Host very helpful. One of the charming old cottages that still remain at Wallaga. They give the area a lot of charm. The place is very quiet and the rambling garden with many old fashioned roses is full of birds and skinks dart about.

Fishermans paradise

This place is in a great location to Wallaga Lake which is a great place to fish. The house itself had everything we needed and a beautiful outlook into the well maintained garden . It was such a peaceful location and we instantly felt relaxed. Dave Kennedy

This property was in a very good location,close to beaches and shops.Very quite family friendly.

We loved our stay in this property though it's bit old and some of the windows are in vulnerable condition but it was absolutely alright to stay two days for us. We only felt that "Microwave" should have been provided. Thank you Mate for renting it us during the christmas.

Enjoyable Retreat

The house enjoys a sense of seclusion thanks to the generous surrounding planting and vegetation on the property. We always had the sounds of birds around us. Inside there was everything required to make for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was apparent that the owners use and love the place themselves, which is a good thing. The main town Bermagui was easily accessible by car, but it was great to be a little bit out from there, where things were a lot more quiet. Camel Rock beach is close, patrolled and surprisingly good for surf.

This had a charm to it, and Luke was pleasant and tried to make an effort after the fact. However, it was incredibly expensive for what was a very modest level of amenities. Many parts of the cottage were in very poor condition and it is certainly NOT beachside... the beach is a good 10 min walk, and the lake 2 min away is not very accessible nor usable. We had to chase for information how to access the place. Garden overgrown and generally whole place in poor repair. Definitely not worth the prices charged.

This was a lovely coast house, overall it was a good experience. Its situated in a relatively quiet area with good access to both Wallaga Lake and the Beach. The Brewhouse is nearby and its proximity to TIlba, Narooma and Bermagui is convinient.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. The location is very fun with the lake a few minutes one side and beach a few minutes the other direction. The home is a bit aged and the condition moderate, but we were comfortable and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Easy contact-less check-in. Luke was easy to communicate with and we felt very welcomed - thank you!
