Ideal for small families and fishermen. Gateway to the best "Snowy Mountains" skiing and trout fishing. "Currawong Cottage" is a sunny, warm timber cottage, waterfront, on a quiet inlet of Lake Eucumbene. Both bedrooms having a queen bed in each.

Pleasant lounge with expansive bush outlook and access to the water and a large effective slow combustion wood heater. Well equipped kitchen with stainless steal appliances and comfortable dining area. Large sunny balcony with bush and lake views. The cottage is in a quiet, bushy area but not isolated and only a few hundred metres to boat ramp and an excellent general provision store, boat hire, fishing tackle, bait, car and boat fuel. Ski hire can be found at Adaminaby or Selwyn Ski Resort.

"Currawong Cottage" at Angler's Reach, is on a small, pretty peninsular on the 'Providence Arm' of Lake the biggest and best trout fishing lake in Australia. Just 14 kilometres out of Adaminaby township on the Snowy Mountains Highway. A thirty minute drive to Mount Selwyn snowfields with excellent family skiing, or a little over one hour to Thredbo and Perisher via Jindabyne and the Skitube.
Excellent all-weather sealed road access from North, South, East, and West.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS:

Snow skiing and year-round trout fishing in lake and stream. Boating, excellent bushwalking, horseriding. Explore the spectacular Snowy Mountains Hydro scheme and the historic goldfields of Kiandra. Visit Yarrangobilly Caves and Thermal Pool. Enjoy the mountain bushland experience from your sunny balcony with kangaroos, wombats and the myriad bird life of this unique region.

Living in Gascoyne Junction, 200kms inland from Carnarvon Western Australia we have owned Currawong Cottage in Anglers Reach on Lake Eucumbene for close to 20yrs. Jenni Operations Officer & Pete Senior Ranger with DBCA we both Manage Kennedy Range, Pimbee National Parks in the Midwest Region od WA. We are both Directors and our Company Cloverdale1 Pty Ltd.

Anglers Reach is our respite place, and you would find us here three months of the year, prior to COVID. Sharing our beautiful Cottage with many return clients, fishing and enjoying the Snowy Mtns of NSW. We are hopping now after fires and COVID that we can swing back into letting out Currawong Cottage after a very long 5 years of having the odd holiday tenants.

Cottage location:
Turn left off the Snowy Mountains Highway, approximately 2 kilometres on Kiandra side of Adaminaby at signposts “Anglers Reach 14 kilometres”. Travel 7 kilometres to ‘T’ junction at Old Adaminaby – turn right and travel a further 7 kilometres to Anglers Reach village.
