Fantastic house and beach location

This is a superb house for families to enjoy. We were a group of 13 and this included 5 children under 12 years, with plenty of space to spread out. The beach is amazing whatever the weather.

Amazing property in prime location

We loved our stay at Island Beach. We were 2 families with children from 2-15. There was plenty of space for all children, island beach is probably one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever visited and the children loved spending their day there. There was so much wildlife - we saw kangaroos, seals, wallabies and penguins in the area. Will definitely stay again

The Perfect Stay!

Our business group have just returned from our annual retreat, a 3 night stay in Kangaroo Island. This property was absolutely perfect in every way, with a beautiful view over Island Beach (which is a stunning beach) and easy access to the many gorgeous places to visit on the island. Martin is an excellent host, and was most obliging in every way from our initial enquiry right through to departure. Very highly recommended!

With 4 generations from 80’s to 2 months of age the property was perfect in size, amenities, comfort & stunning location. We needed more time to enjoy the house & location on top of sight seeing!!

Great location and great venue

This was an excellent venue. It was everything we expected but unfortunately, we had a very hot weekend and there was limited cooling in the rooms. Stand-alone fans helped but unfortunately no air-conditioning in any of the bedrooms. It was an unusually hot weekend for Kangaroo Island and the house was very hard to keep cool.

Great property but difficult owner

When we tried to book the owner asked for considerably more money and then changed our dates to fit his cleaning schedule. Normally I would have declined but it was the only property on the island that would fit our group.Then when we left he accused my son of making a hole in the wall.The property was in an amazing location with great views. It was very well presented and stocked.The owner was also quick to respond when the wifi wasn’t working. However there was a used Band-Aid on my daughter’s floor and hair in the shower.

Stunning house and magnificent views

We chose this house for a 70th birthday celebration with all the family. It is very spacious with stunning picture windows to the sea and beyond. There was plenty of room for us all to spread out and have space when we needed but also very family friendly communal spaces too. Had a lovely visit from a couple of the locals looking for a snack on our first night to the delight of our youngest grandchild. Highly recommend this house.

A wonderfully equipped house for a large group with amazing views

Overlooking Island Beach and the bay beyond, this house has amazing views and great facilities. We stayed for two nights with 9 friends (we think it can take up to 14 people?). The house can be used as one enormous house or divided into two, so has two fully functional and well appointed kitchens and many bathrooms. There is a large living area, two dining tables (we had one for eating and one for games!). The host was very responsive and helpful in the lead up when we had questions. Oh and did I mention the view? Sunsets were amazing from the glass fronted windows or the balconies and we even had a pod of dolphins swim past and a kangaroo visit us one evening. Highly recommend.

Beautiful getaway

We had an incredible family getaway and we all felt that this beautiful house was the highlight of our Kangaroo Island holiday. It is in a perfect location with stunning views and everything you could possibly need thought of. We were a group of 10 and very comfortable in the house with plenty of room between us all.
