Lovely, newly renovated 2-bedroom 1,200+ sq foot condo, situated in one of the limited number of “ideal” Florida locations. It's in a quiet two-story complex that is bounded by a pristine beach; an intracoastal waterway with Florida flora along the banks; a nature preserve, and; a super-quiet residential neighborhood.
To reach the ocean, just cross the coast road—remarkably, there is no beachside construction for miles (as the photos show). And yet it is 10 minutes to all amenities—restaurants, shopping, more beaches, kayaking, hiking, birding—and 1 hour to Orlando, 40 minutes to St. Augustine, 20 minutes to Daytona racetrack.
28-day minimum rental, but it's worth it if you are considering less.
All utilities included, including boosted wifi.

Exactly what I was hoping for

This rental is perfect if you are looking for a quiet space with immediate access to the beach, nature trails, and the pool. also an easy drive to attractions in daytona, st augustine, and orlando. Jack is a legend. He is an A+ host who went above and beyond to make sure everything was as it should be. We felt taken care of during our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed :) I am super thankful for our month at the spacious, clean condo and can’t say enough good things.

I've been staying in VRBO after VRBO for the past couple of years. Reviews can kill or make my decision so I try to offer something useful. I don't gush or rant, just rate property purely on honesty. The pictures fairly represent property and ad is accurate. Thus five stars. The only comment I have about the condo is all the rooms and condo overall were larger than I expected. If you like pics and description - that's what you get.

Jack is super cool!

We only got to stay a few days of our month long stay because of Hurricane Irma but Jack was nice enough to refund us a large portion of our month long stay. Totally awesome dude! Place is super clean & has everything you need! Literally I couldn't come up with an item they didn't have! Bed was SUPER COMFY too! Florida Room is a nice touch :) you can tell they really love this place. Jack is very thorough too. Taking the time to make sure you are comfy. He provides assistance knowing the area if you want it too. Internet worked well. Quiet neighbors. Across from the worlds most private beach. Local restaurants were great & close enough to everything. TIP- make sure if it rains you take the road by the beach as far as you can, the back way floods out - this has nothing to do with the place, just a tip! Only ONE thing that we kinda worried about was the water in the condo. It had a kinda brownish tinge with the hot water. We filtered it with the Brita & it was fine, but if you are a bath person you may wanna skip that. It might just be that way in the area or because it's an older building built maybe 1973ish? Overall this place was great! Very hands on owner, comfy, easy to find, stocked & in a sleepy little place. We travel full time and this was one we won't forget just because of how cool the owner was about the refund & how much he cares about you and his place!

I appreciate your mentioning how well-appointed (glad you liked the French press!) and comfortable the place is, and hope you'd agree that everything is new and fresh there. And our condo units were built to last--we did fine during Hurricane Irma, power included. (It's very rare for hurricanes to threaten NE Florida--and that was the biggest.) I'll check re the water, as it has not been reported previously.

We enjoyed this clean, spacious, well- kept condo. Just a short walk to the beach, this condo is in a quiet location within the complex. Comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, good wifi, cable tv, and beach accessories added to our enjoyment.

I have lived in or traveled to this area of Florida for over 50 years, and continue to be amazed by how relatively few folks know about it. Those who do, treasure Ormond-by-the-Sea for its natural beauty, low humidity, great sunshine, year-round beautiful weather--and peacefulness.

Why they chose this property

My grandfather moved to a house in Ormond Beach [note, not this property] in 1963, and successive generations of my family have lived here since. One weekend my wife and I were casually looking at properties nearby and we were shown this condo: in short, we couldn't pass it up--the geographic location and the position within the condo area are both ideal. We stay here some months during the year, and otherwise are glad to offer it on VRBO.
