Love Villa Estancia

I booked this unit for my Senior mom and couple of her friends who arrived prior to me. I was impressed with their ease of check in and the consistent quality of the Villa Estancia properties despite the individual unit owners. Would definitely stay again.

Did notice the noise from traffic in this location. Would help,since we eat in the unit a lot, to have some windex etc to wipe counters and stove.

We had a lovely stay at the villa. And I would like to set the record straight on a couple other customer comments. The couch is NOT horrendous, it is just older but who spends much time sitting on a sofa when there is a lovely veranda. All of the beds and linens were very comfortable!! Not a single complaint. The villa is spacious and has a nice view of the grounds is a short walk to the pool and beach. It was well equipped with what you might need in the kitchen and the washer/dryer were so nice to have. I highly recommend this villa and hope to return again soon!

Great Resort

I had a great time in Cabo at this resort. The layout of the villa is amazing. Beautiful pools and hot tubs. I can't give this a 5 star because this villa is in dire need of some new livingroom furniture. The couch is horrific. It's a light color and dirty. There are multiple lamps and most are broken and don't work. If the furniture is taken care of I would stay again. I would definitely stay at this resort again but not this villa. It's close to the marina and you have access to the sister properties for dining.

This is the first we've heard of things being in bad condition. The furniture was bought by the homeowners association. We asked that in the meantime of purchasing a new one, if it could be deep cleaned and detailed. We apologize for this and we're sorry that this had a negative impact on your stay. Second time I've used this room. Like most Estancia properties it's well kept and no major issues. Clean, quality appliances, beautiful decor, great BBQ, etc. Minor complaints: The fans outside still aren't installed. Just like last year. They're stored in the pantry for some reason for over a year now. Not a big deal but seems like they've had plenty of time to fix it. Two of the three TV's are awful. The lockout TV is great and has streaming capability. Mexican cable isn't the best so this is a useful feature on a rental. Considering how cheap TV's are now going with something a bit more modern would be nice. The beds aren't the best. Not level and soft/deformed. None of these keeps from a 5 star rating though. It was a good value and will stay in this room again for this price.

Typical Estancia quality with a few issues

This unit is fine and mostly up to what I've come to expect from a stay at Villa La Estancia. There were some minor inconveniences but it wouldn't stop me from renting it again. 1. Patio fans in the pantry. All three outside fans were stored in the pantry for some unknown reason. Meaning we had filthy fans in a food area and limited access. We went to Costco and actually had food in there. Not a super big deal but definitely missed having the outside fans and didn't like working around them getting food/water/beer in and out of pantry. Seemed odd to put them there. 2. Minor issue but the master bedroom bed sucks. So did the TV actually. Blown speaker maybe? At this location/price I think they could do better. TV's are dirt cheap now days. 2 days rent would buy a much better one. Mattresses cost more. The other bedroom was fine according to my friend. None of this hurt the trip much though. Everything else in the room from appliances to cleanliness (maids are exceptional here) was top notch and it's a nice unit. Dishes, knives, pots and so on are all great. We cooked a lot so this did matter to us. Staff is the best in Cabo. They seem to really try hard and very friendly. Most speak very good English as well and take pride in their jobs. Overall still doing 5 stars and would stay at 2305 again.

Love this place

We will re-book this place! We had a great experience staying at this location. The property manager was helpful in suggesting a car service and answering questions prior to our arrival. The photos are a great representation of what it looks like. My daughter and her boyfriend had their own room and bathroom. My husband and I took the master bedroom and bath. There was still one more bathroom too which is always helpful. We could have easily fit more people as one bed was not utilized. Everything was clean and maintained. We loved having the hotel amenities such as room service & housekeeping service. The kitchen was fully stocked though we did not cook, but there is a coffee pot so I made coffee every morning. I just bought bottled water, coffee and creamer! There is a walmart nearby which the car service took us to on the way from the airport. There is a small grocery store and pharmacy on the property which is very convenient. The restaurants in the resort are top notch as they go out of their way to provide service and high quality food. I utilized the concierge services for help with a couple restaurants outside the property. The resort is a short cab ride to the downtown area where there are lots of restaurants and shopping to choose from. We definitely want to go back!

2022 Vacation

We've vacationed in Cabo many times and have stayed in various resorts. The Estancia Villa's were a first this year. We were totally impressed with the grounds our villa and the service provided. This location will be a first option when coming back to Cabo.

Nice but could be cleaner and updated

This is our 6th time at Villa la Estancia and we love it. The Villa has very nice new appliances, however, the furniture in the seating area needs to be replaced. The rug is full of stains and the couch and pillows were worn out. Lots of dust on the wood furniture pieces and old candy wrappers were behind the pillows on the small couch in the master. Just disappointed for the price you pay during peak season.

Noisy Neighbor

Our stay would have been GREAT. But, we had neighbors in Villa 2304 that wanted to party like teenagers on spring break. We were in Villa 2305, it literally sounded like they were on our balcony partying. Management and staff at Estancia were absolutely no help when it came to the situation. They basically told us we have to take it up with the owner. Estancia has no problem taking your money, but doesn’t help you when you rent from a third party. If you have any problems you are on your own.

We followed up with the homeowners, who were surprised by your feedback, as the resort is typically very strict about these types of situations and does not allow for noise late at night. The owners have followed up with building management to ensure this does not happen again, and we encourage future guests to reach out right away should they have any concerns. The homeowner would have been happy to intervene had they known about this sooner.

Amazing vacation

This is exactly what we all needed : Villa La Estancia is a beautifully maintained and landscaped resort: It's beautiful, clean, and quiet. The staff there is professional, polite and friendly. If you don't want to be in a place with loud music at the pool, drunk people and party crowds, this is a great place, more family oriented. Our unit was clean and in a good and quiet location. We ordered breakfast everyday and ate on the balcony which provides good shaded areas. We spent our day at the beach, playing in the waves and taking long walks, then retreated to pool and hot tub areas at the end of the day for a few cocktails. The food at the restaurants and room service is delicious and beautifully presented. We especially loved the Tres Leche cake! All the staff made us feel welcome and was very professional. We just felt lucky to be there and we are hoping to return for our next beach vacation.

Beautiful view of the city and a nice peek towards the water. Check in was very smooth

Upon arrival, check-in was very easy and the staff treated us with cold water. The ocean viee was a described. The condo was super, plenty of room for the entire group. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was very hospitable and reacted very quickly to our needs. The only critical piece is that the furniture was looking very used. Couch cushion had holes and coffee table laminate was peeling.

Amazing stay!

This was our first time to Cabo and we WILL be back. Tonya took great care of us (as always) in booking the condo and providing great insider info for our trip. The condo complex exceeded our expectations and was one of the nicest places we have stayed. Well kept property, fully appointed spacious condo, great helpful and professional staff on site. The Medano beach location is fantastic. Close enough to town for a walk or quick trip in, but far enough away for some peace and quiet.

2 weeks at #2305 La Estancia

We travelled with another couple for 2 weeks here are the highlights, resort is beautiful and well located to town 15 - 20 min walk or an $8 - $10 taxi fare. Condo has alot of space and deck is fantastic with a great BBQ. We liked the morning sun and afternoon shade as by end of day we usually had enough sun. The kitchen is nicely stocked with pots, pans, bowls dishes etc. The only small issues we had is that the dishwasher bottom rack doesn't sit well and its probably time for a new dishwasher as it didn't clean well with larger loads, other issue was the crisper in fridge needs to be fixed, replaced as it kept falling off the mounts. Water and icemaker were great and kept us to our needs. Al in all I would recommend this property and unit to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing luxurious get away! we hope to be back next year!

Great Condo and vacation!

Our family of 5 spent New Years week at the Estancia. The property is gorgeous, the staff who maintain the grounds are very hard working and the garden is amazing. We were happy with the room, we had both sides and had plenty of space for our family of 5. The kitchen was well stocked and everything worked well (except the blender and once we asked for a new one the staff brought us one within the day). The pools are beautiful and quiet. The beach has nice sand and clear blue water. The beach out front was okay for swimming but it is fairly rough (it gets deep fast and the waves are strong). We enjoyed the water, the older kids loved being tossed around by the waves and the adults were happy to float a bit deeper where it was calmer. The restaurants at Estancia and the joining resorts are beautiful but I found the food was very expensive for the quality / quantity received (this would be my only complaint about the resort). We loved "The Office" which was a 15 minute (max) walk down the beach for supper or lunch. Our favorite activities in the area were surfing (cab ride away to Mike Doyle surf school) and zip-lining at Cabo Adventures (about an hour by shuttle provided by Cabo Adventures). We did walk into town several times, but while we were there it was really quiet (on one day there were no other tourists on the streets with the shops), and so I didn't feel comfortable spending a lot of time in town.We booked our trip through VRBO / Tonya and she was great - our rate was better than our friend's and Tonya responded quickly to e-mail. Thanks Tonya and owners of this villa, we had a great trip!
