Edgewater 18 - June Lake, Walk to the village! Perfect family condo. Beautifully appointed. Close to June and Gull Lakes.

Sunny Village location and just steps away from June Lake.  Gull Lake is just a short walk away.  This is truly the perfect location for your family's fun vacation.  The upstairs features an open concept floorplan with a comfy living room, wood burning fireplace, a dining area that seats 6, and a nicely stocked kitchen to prepare your favorite family meals.  The deck off of the living room has a BBQ grill for your use and seating for two. A great place to catch the views and breathe the fresh mountain air.  The bedrooms are downstairs with a full bath and laundry area.  The master features an awesome queen log bed and the kid's room has bunks.  You can catch a peek of June Lake from the living room. Walking distance TO EVERYTHING IN THE VILLAGE. In the winter, this property is just a short drive to the June Mountain Ski area.

There are no amenities at this condo complex. But just a short walk to many amazing areas.

We will be present to check you in during normal business hours.

June Lake is just steps away. You are also just a short walk away from Gull Lake and Gull Lake Park. No public transportation.

Great location, walking distance into town. You have a nice view of the lake and the mountains. Living room was comfortable and the bedrooms were great for sleeping. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Views are breathtaking. Kitchen ready to cook, bathroom provided tolietries, firewood provided and a very comfortable layout for a family. The Jenga has been modified for a drinking game, the kids thought it was funny, but beware if you're too modest. Enjoy.

Great location in the village!

Great place for a mini ski vacation! However, the top bunks in the bunk beds are not suitable for adult use, very difficult to get in and out of, pretty much unsafe except for children. Thermostat is on the lower level, took some trial and error to find the right temperature so that we were comfortable on the second level living area. Great entertainment setup with the large TV and fireplace!

Good time, but could be cleaner, and no garage access

The downstairs floor was not swept/cleaned and the bedrooms (curtains, headboards) were dusty. Woke up the next morning with allergies I typically get from dust. Also, the dryer didn’t work, which was a bummer, but we informed the rental place and they were very friendly and said they would fix it. Also, it advertises on a sign outside and in the checkout sheet that there is access to a garage. This is not true. There is no garage access- we asked. Still, it was a good place to stay because of location and views. Kitchen is large and easy to cook in, and it has a great grill to use.

I will not be going back to this unit. If you are viewing this pick another unit in this complex. Avoid this one until it gets updated.Pro:Close to Marina and VillageGives you two parking spacesNice video, games, book selectionWiFi and TV options were solidCons:The stairs are horrendous and not friendly for people with kids or someone with knee or health issues - no one mentions this anywhere about the Edgewater but the majority of the units have two deep sets of stairsThe parking spaces are too close - someone hit my car and my sisters two separate instances No cameras around exterior so when your car gets hit the police can’t request the videoThe downstairs bathroom shower was brokenAll sinks have old hardware-they need to be replaced. They stick and/ or leak.The bathrooms are old and need a deep cleaning. Lots of scum build up. The carpet is old and also need a deep cleaning-stank and stainedThey say they clean the linens but the mattress cover smelled and so did comforters and blankets. When they say we clean the linens they mean the towelsThe pots and pans are not good. I had to use what was there. By third day we just ate out as I didn’t want to deal with sub-par itemsThe walkways and stairs need a cleaning. Cobwebs everywhere and dirt - even on inside stairsThe place is dark downstairs. The rooms are dreary and drab. Pictures of outside and view are not of this unit. It’s smells.If you are going to June Lake don’t stay at this unit.

Good Location, Cramped Quarters

This place is within easy reach of the village, Gull Lake, and portions of June Lake (not the main beach). We were 2 families. 7 people total. Would be better with a smaller group. We arrived, and the place had not been cleaned. The manager was good about sending someone out right away., but it was a pain after a long drive. We also received conflicting information from the manager about the internet quality. The living room area is okay. We all enjoyed the massage chair. The kitchen was decent. Pretty well stocked. Too many pots and pans and no room to put your food. The furniture is bulky and the space not well planned so I felt like I was always banging into something or moving something so the path was clear. Don't rely on the internet. We tried to watch a movie and it stopped every few minutes (on the weekend) It was better weekdays.

We apologize for the inconvenience of having to arrive to a unit that was not ready. We remedied the problem quickly and compensated you well for the issue. Unfortunately, the WiFi in June Lake has been spotty lately. That is out of our hands, but we do hope this problem will be solved in the very near future. Aside from the few challenges, we sincerely hope you had a great time here in the eastern sierra and got to get out and explore!
