About this property

Chuditch Holiday House Dwellingup - Great Central Location

After living is this beautiful home for 14 years our family has decided to move to a larger property just outside the Dwellingup town site. As we still love the home and the location we decided against selling and have chosen instead to make it available for you, your friends and family to come and enjoy a slice of Jarrah Forest heaven.
Chuditch Holiday Home has everything you will need to relax and enjoy your time away. Comfortable couches to curl up on with a good book, toys and games for the whole family, outdoor decking and BBQ in a beautiful garden where you can take a cat nap or watch the native birds busying themselves collecting nectar and insects and building nests. We even get the odd visit from a blue tongue lizard :) In winter you can stoke the wood fire to keep cozy and warm and in summer cool off with the reverse cycle air conditioner.
In autumn you will enjoy the delights of the changing leaves which lead you to winter when the steam train starts running and begins its journey just across the road from our house. Even after 14 years we still run out the front to see it go past.
Come spring the garden is full of blossom and birds leading into summer when you can relax in the shade on the decking and enjoy an cool drink whist making the most of the long evenings with a BBQ dinner. If the season is right you might even get a cherry or peach or two from one of the fruit trees.
There is plenty to do in Dwellingup and it is all just around the corner. From the cafes, cidery, and pub to the Forest Discovery Centre, Trees Adventures, Hotham Vallery Rail, Lane Poole Reserve, orchards and skate / pump park you will need to come back for a second visit just to fit it all in.
To enjoy a get away in the tranquil town of Dwellingup just click on the ‘book now’ button to secure your stay in the Chuditch Holiday Home. We look forward to having you as our guests.

My husband and I have lived in Dwellingup since 2005. We have loved making our home here and growing our family.

As well as running this wonderful accommodation I am an artist and furniture maker while my husband is a teacher.

We look forward to being able to provide you with a little slice of paradise :)

Why they chose this property

This property caught our eye as soon as we arrived in town. It is a generous 1/4 acre, with a wonderful outlook over a park and bush land.

We have spent quite a bit of time renovating and extending the home meaning there is plenty of room for your family or a larger group.

What makes this property unique

Chuditch Holiday Home looks over the park where the Hotham Valley Railway Stream Trains run during Autumn, Winter and Spring time. It is such a joy to run out the front of the house to wave at the travellers going by.

We also quite regularly have a horse drawn carriage come past the house on it way to town.

We are located a short walk from the new Trails and Visitors Centre, Hotham Valley Station, Pub and numerous cafes. We are a 30min stroll away from the Wine Tree Cindery so there is no need to choose a skipper :)
