The living area is a large open plan room 8m by 10m. There are two square dining tables that seat 8 each or 12 when together. There are 3 three-seater couches and the huge kitchen which is a pleasure to use. Off this room is the deck overlooking the valley.
The Bedrooms
The master bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed and two single beds. The second bedroom also has a queen bed but with an en-suite. Both of these rooms have french doors that open out onto the view and a secluded sitting area. The third very large bedroom has five single beds. There is a smaller bedroom with a single bed and a fifth bedroom with a double bed. In the games room there is a three seater couch which is a sofa bed (double) and a two seater couch. The rumpus room is far away enough from the main living area that the kids can watch a DVD without disturbing the adults. There is also a main bathroom with a separate toilet and laundry.
Outdoors
Set on fifty acres, with a forest up the hill and the river at the bottom, there is room for everyone. The native garden attracks beautiful birds. Don't forget to scout for koalas on your bushwalk. The wallabies are almost tame. Keep an eye out for the old black possum who steals tomotoes after dark and if you listen hard you might hear an echidna digging in the grass.

Although the weather gods were not on our side it didn't dampen our stay at Mudaridge. With breathtaking views, a comfortable home that is well laid out and could have everything you could possibly want.We braved the outside weather for many walks around the property which is absolutely stunning and abound with nature. So many birds, some possums and wallabies. Such a great space to relax, soak up nature and just enjoy ourselves
Mudridge is a beautiful home. The living area is fantastic- a huge island made food prep and serving so easy for our group of 12. The sleeping area is well set out. Pillows could be better.Location is stunning- gorgeous views and the drive there is pretty good- much easier than I was anticipating. We really enjoyed our stay.
We loved our time here. The house was great and really well set up for a family catch up. The views were amazing and the pizza oven worked a treat.I loved how the house was set up with a sleeping quarters and living quarters. We will be back!
It is such a lovely place for a family holiday. Everyone loved it from my teenagers to their tiny cousins. I loved the view and the simplicity of living in the space. The dog loved it. My husband loved the pizza oven and we all want to come back.
Muderidge is the perfect location for a large family getaway space for everyone and fresh open air …. Perfect
I love the fact that the sleeping quarters are separate to the living area it works soo well
The country feel is wonderful
Amazing stay once again! Our 2 dogs had the best time running around. Such an amazing place for just the family or a big group of friends. Can’t wait to come back!
My husband and I had a great stay as always. The dogs loved running around and Jill was kind enough to give us an early check in. We’ll be booking our next stay soon! :)
Absolutely stunning accommodation in a beautiful and very peaceful location. The property was spacious, very comfortable and had more than we needed - from games, books, cooking equipment, pizza oven, BBQ...the list goes on. Great communal areas, as well as quiet spaces - everywhere offering incredible views. The stars on a clear night were something none of us have ever seen before. Jill was amazing in her communication and ensuring we had a wonderful time. Thank you for a very happy and generally wonderful weekend.
We absolutely loved Mudaridge! Jill was so easy to communicate with and the house was just stunning. The view was gorgeous and we spent most of our time by the fire pit drinking wine and admiring the view. The property is spectacular with the river easy walking distance and lots of beautiful wildlife to see. We will definitely be back again, thank you Jill!
Party of 6 booked a two night getaway for a special occasion. Layout of the property with separate mud brick buildings housing accommodation and kitchen/dining/living quarters worked really well. The lack of reliable wifi was actually a plus and added to the sense of isolation. Views from the fire pit were sublime. Dining options were good with a hooded BBQ, range. Pizza oven and fuel burner stove. Overall, an incredibly relaxing two days of stunning scenery and boardgames
Mudbrick residence made up of 2 separate buildings. Rural location close to Gloucester National Park. Very private and quiet & close to NP. Clean & well organised; our perfect location. Lot's of birds and the Gloucester river runs thru the property. Great fire pit with fantastic views..... we will be back.

Pleasant family holiday
Pros
Neat and tidy accomodation with beautiful scenery. Very relaxing location with a great pizza oven and fully stocked kitchen. Great spot for a large family or friend group reunion.
Cons
Fairly far from the river with 4wD access only, too far for young kids. No air conditioning in the bedrooms, it was hot! Pretty pricey for having to bring your own towels and toilet paper.
Stunning location up on a hill away from the hustle and bustle Lovely, very well equipped house with everything you could possibly want. I'm sure other holiday homes have pizza ovens, but none with a view like this one. Cook while you gaze down into the verdant valley and beyond to the mist shrouded mountains. Loved it all.
This is the fourth time we have stayed at Mudaridge for our Annual Family Getaway. We all love it there. The grandkids spent most of the time playing and exploring outside and a visit down to see the chickens is always a must. Our four year old granddaughter was sad to learn that her favourite roosters, Bruce and Neville, had unfortunately passed away since last year’s visit. But, she was very happy to meet the new additions. Our eldest son bravely took a dip in the freezing cold water of the crystal clear river. We spent each afternoon relaxing around the firepit. We loved the pizza oven too.
Thank you for having us again Jill and Mick. Hopefully we will be back again next year!
