Laurel Inn 508 is a beautiful condo with private balcony close to downtown

Laurel Inn Condos is located just 4 blocks from the main street of Gatlinburg. The property has a heated outdoor seasonal pool for your enjoyment. There is also free wireless internet. You have two ways to get back to the downtown area. If you take the sidewalk down Cherokee Orchard Road, then you will come out at Traffic light #6 near the Mountain Mall and Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. There is also a wooden stairwell that is off the back of our complex that will connect you to Reagan Drive which will bring you out near Ripley's Believe or Not Museum. This unit is a one bedroom with a King bed in the bedroom. It also has a queen size sofa bed in the living room. The kitchenette consists of a full size refrigerator, microwave, Coffee Maker, and a 2 burner range stove.

Awesomely convenient property with a great view.

This is our second year to stay at The Laurel Inn. This particular unit was really nice. It's so convenient to almost all of the Gatlinburg strip. We have parked the car on arrival both years we stayed here and pretty much walked everywhere all week. The room this year was very nice. It's perfect for two adults. I only wish we had ten more days.

Location, location, location!!!

This is such a convenient spot to everything in Gaitlinburg. We used the car to go to the National Park and Piegon Forge but if you wanted to stay in town, you certainly could. We absolutely got our steps in but (59m/54f) it was totally doable. In the heat of the summer, the steps may be more daunting but in early October, it was perfect.

Location was good, balcony was nice. Unit was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Full size refrigerator was nice and cold. Walls are very thin and we could hear the couple next door arguing. The fireplace didn't work, but we didn't call about it because we were not planning on being in the room much. Unit was clean and check in was convenient. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the towels and washcloths. They were outrageously thin and actually kinda hurt to use the washcloth on my skin. However, I wouldn't let this keep me from staying again. I would just bring my own next time. For the price I think it was a good place.

Customer service was wonderful and the front desk was helpful and kind. Location was wonderful and we felt out of the way from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The bed was very comfy and the decor was thoughtful and pleasing. We would stay here again, however there were a couple things that disappointed us (hair in the shower, smell of smoke in the bathroom, the fire place was difficult to turn on). From other reviews it did not sound like this was a normal thing, so we were sad we got a room that didn’t meet all our expectations.

Great anniversary trip.

We had a great time staying here. Close to downtown and the listing is as pictured. Very clean and cozy. We had a minor issue with the fireplace but the front desk attendant came up and got us fixed up. We had an over all gear stay. We will definitely be back.

Reviewer Comments: These are older condos but, they are in good condition and a great value for the money. The bed was SURPRISINGLY comfy! The walk down to town us not bad. It's the walking back up that will get you. Thankfully they have stairs with a pit stop half way. The only down side is the hot water. Unless you get up EARLY, it is luke warm, at best, by 9am. Also, be aware of your surroundings late at night & early in the morning, the bears are on the move!

Hidden Gem

My Fiancé and I went up to Gatlinburg for a 5 night stay. The condo was clean and convenient to get to, easy access to the strip, and had a beautiful view of the mountains. We loved watching the sunset right over the peak of the mountains. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in town! Only one downside: The claimed easy walk to the strip was difficult for anyone that can’t walk a long distance. It is a good amount of walking up and down stairs but luckily we found a parking lot that charged 5$ a day.

Convenient location

We loved the coziness and convenience of staying here! The only 2 downsides were low water pressure in the shower and a questionable stain on the pullout mattress. We opted to not use the sleeper sofa when we found the stain. Other than that it was great!

The only thing I didn't like was the ceiling fan was remote control and the owner had the remote at his house I like circulation.
