Come and enjoy this freshly renovated, well equipped holiday house right on the waters edge at Mannering Park. Sheltered in a quiet bay just 200 metres from the boat ramp, you can launch your boat or jetski and park it at our jetty just metres from the back door. Enjoy a quiet drink under the stars by the crackling firepit overlooking the lake. Ideal for 4 couples or 2 families looking for a quick getaway just 60 minutes from the start of the freeway at Wahroonga.

King Bedroom: has an en-suite with a large shower and a separate bathtub, walk in wardrobe, air-conditioning and balcony with lake front views.

Queen Bedroom (Upstairs): has a sofa, air-conditioning, tea & coffee making facilities, built in wardrobe. It is serviced by an adjacent bathroom and separate toilet.

Queen Bedrooms (Downstairs): built in wardrobes, both rooms share a bathroom opposite with a separate toilet.

Upstairs Living Room: double sofa bed, Single Day Bed, air-conditioning, TV with PlayStation & DVD player, fully opening bi-fold doors onto a balcony with lake front views, bean bags & board games.

Downstairs Living & Dining Room: large, square 8 seater dining table (can seat 10 with 2 extra chairs), Air-conditioning, Pool Table, TV with Foxtel & Netflix.

Outdoors: 25m private jetty, flexible outdoor dining table (can be set up as one large table, or two smaller ones). Fire pit with a long bench seat. Fish from the jetty (bring your own gear). Launch your boat or jet ski at the boat ramp located just 200m down the end of the street and park at the jetty by the back door.

Kitchen & Laundry: There is a dishwasher, induction stove top, oven, large microwave, coffee pod machine, fully equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, glassware, foil, gladwrap, condiments etc. There is a washing machine in the laundry.

Garage & extras: double garage has a ping pong table, clothes line, 2nd fridge & life jackets. There is also Cricket, Boccee, Badmington, Volleyball, Totem Tennis & Magnetic Dart Board. There is also plenty of off street parking.

We are environmentally conscious hosts and have had a large solar power system installed and have a recycled water system.

We now have a new IGA at the local shops a short stroll away.

Please note that we do not allow parties, weddings, schoolies, bucks or hens functions. Pets are not permitted at Sand so please don't ask.

Great stay. The house was in a fab location and very well equipped with all the things you need. The house was very well maintained and clean. The outdoor area is very well set up with a decent bbq we spent lots of time outside enjoying the view. The week went way too fast would definitely stay here again.

We stayed with 3 other friends and their kids over the weekend, the location and the house is just fantastic, it’s one of those park your car and forget kinda holiday where we had plenty to do at the house for kids and grown ups alike. Fantastic property

Great stay for two families with ski boat

This property is a great find. Whilst there’s not much in mannering park the house has everything. From the paddle board and kayaks to the table tennis and pool tables. The fire pit, the constant views, the well equipped kitchen and c comfortable beds. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property with everything you need!

We stayed over the June long weekend with 4 couples and 2 children. The property is perfectly placed and very well equipped. The owners have thought of absolutely everything and we loved the little touches they have added! Sunsets are amazing and the jetty provided a perfect back drop for afternoons of fishing and sitting in the sun enjoying a drink or two. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away!

Amazing Stay

We're a couple in our 50's who are semi retired. We have 2 adult children and live in Sydney's northern beaches area. We try to get to "Sand" at every opportunity as we simply love the chilled atmopsphere of the area.

Why they chose this property

Having holidayed at other properties in the area over the years, we were always keen to buy a nice house if one came up with the intention of retiring there. One such house did come up and we were fortunate enough to be able to secure it. We have since spent a great deal of time undertaking much needed renovation & maintenance and are now proud to offer a well maintained, clean and well equipped holiday home with as many home comforts as possible.

What makes this property unique

This property is located on the absolute waterfront of a quite bay in Mannering Park on the southern shores of Lake Macquarie. We offer a 25 metre jetty at the back door to park your boat or jet ski and the boat ramp is in sight just 200 metres along the waterfront. There is plenty of parking and we have lovely neighbours.
