About this property
Bush and Bay Cottage - Jervis Bay
*** Free EV Charger & WIFI is included in your stay! ***
We include linen and towels and make your beds up for your arrival.
We are one of only a few properties in the entire Jervis Bay area which provide free EV charging to our guests.
Bush & Bay Cottage is a comfortable, cosy three bedroom house, with full air-conditioning/heating backing onto Jervis Bay National Park making this a popular drop in spot for a local family of kangaroos. It is popular with families, and also frequented by couples and groups of friends as well as international guests who love seeing the wildlife.
The cottage has three bedrooms and sleeps 6 - two large rooms featuring queen size beds, and a third bedroom with two single king beds. The additional sofa bed in the living room increases numbers up to 8 in need.
Enjoy the wood combustion heater during the colder months, and the large country style balcony to relax outside during the warmer months. We have air conditioning to keep you cool or warm depending on the time of the year, across all rooms.
The dining table accommodates 6 people and dining bench 4.
There is plenty of parking on the property beside the Cottage or out the front.
You will find additional items such as a dishwasher, air-conditioning, microwave, washing machine, dryer, BBQ, and oil heaters as well as the wood fire, and unlimited fire wood.
Erowal Bay originated as a small fishing village on the shores of St Georges Basin, and still retains its sleepy charm. The Basin is ideal for fishing, kyaking, sailing and recreational watercraft. The boat ramp is only 800 metres from the cottage.
Enter Booderee National Park 5 kms away and you are officially in the Australian Capital Territory. The Park is stunning with white beaches, walking trails, diving, and offers free tours and activities for park entry holders during school holidays.
4 kms away are the whitest sands of Hyams Beach offering great swimming in the hotter months, and very scenic walking along the shores all year long.
Nearby Vincentia has a Woolworths, Aldi and Coles supermarket and Huskisson is the gateway to cafes, restaurants, dolphin and whale watching tours and a very quaint movie theatre.
Great tennis courts (6) are located in the same street and can be hired almost anytime outside of competition on Saturdays.
Between May and November why not enjoy the amazing experience of whale watching? Or meet some of the many dolphins which live in Jervis Bay between October and May.
Sorry - no parties - no under age drinking permitted.

About the host
Hosted by Geoff Martin
With my husband Geoff and two children, we have made Jervis Bay our second home and enjoy spending numerous times each year relaxing at Bush & Bay Cottage.
Why they chose this property
My favourite time is my daily walk along Hyams Beach just a five minute drive away, along the world famous white sands, with little signs of civilisation. Most of the time we are back in Sydney, which is when our guests get to use the Cottage exclusively, and hopefully enjoy nature as much as we do.
What makes this property unique
We back onto Jervis Bay National Park, so most days we have kangaroos wandering through our property, as well as along the streets nearby.
