About this property
Boathouse on the water- natural getaway
This originally built boathouse is located right on the water in Erowal Bay, a quiet village on the St Georges Basin. It is a fully contained modern studio surrounded by water with its own deck leading to a private jetty and open expansive view. Spectacular blue water and stellar skies at night are breath taking. Sunsets on the deck are magnificent way to end the day with a glass in hand surrounded by the colourful beauty of nature. Kangaroos, birds and the odd echidna are local visitors. This is the perfect location for water and nature lovers.
Inside the boathouse has king size bed, lounge area, dining area, a fully equipt kitchen and bathroom. Outside there is a toilet and a fully fenced area. BBQ and outdoor lounge chairs allow you to dine out on the deck and enjoy the view. Fresh linen and towels are provided and although there is no laundry in the boatshed laundering can be arranged. There is internet access and Netflix . Just the place to lie back, wind down, read or watch the activities on the water.
The waterfront provides a playground for sport enthusiasts including swimming, paddle boarding, fishing, water skiing, kayaking, sailing etc. there is a private mooring available next to the jetty if you have a boat for easy access in and out of the boat. The public boat ramp is a few hundred metres along the road. There are tennis courts within walking distance and lots of bush walks. Once at the boathouse there is no need to drive.
Neighbouring attractions are bountiful .These include the coastal town of Huskisson with shops, cafes and restaurants, beautiful waterways, museum, quaint old fashioned movie house and opportunities to book dolphin and whale watching tours. Contemporary Vincentia Shopping centre and Aquatic centre. The natural white sands Hyams Beach and many other spectacular surfing beaches such as Caves and Murray's Beach. The Boduru National Park has Botanical Gardens and various grades of difficulty bush walks overlooking stunning coastal vistas. Golf courses clubs and pubs are all within a few minutes drive.
The boathouse is fenced allowing for your pet dog to come and enjoy the holiday as well. Pets are not allowed on the furniture so please a doggie bed etc. Dogs must be well trained and not disturb neighbours or endanger the wildlife.
