Very disappointing heating system. Although followed all instruction as provided, was unable to turn on gas heater in living room. Other 3 oil circulation heater in rooms were also hot effective enough to heat the room.

Sorry to hear that Bidush. I wish you had called for assistance. While it’s rare to occur I could have helped you.
Everything was great except for the cleanliness. We had to wash everything, the place could really do with a spring clean.

That is extremely unusual, normally cleanliness is the most positive comment we receive as we use a local lady who does an excellent job, opposed to the 30 minute contracting cleaning companies . I do the spring clean and everything is aired, washed and steam cleaned. I rarely find anything anywhere after the season during the spring clean. Sorry this happened to you. The cleaner reported that she had to get the assistance of another cleaner to help clean after your stay, this is a first.
The place was clean, convenient and had pretty much everything we needed. The heating was adequate so it was always warm and so was the water. The garage was good and so was the setup, it was simple but enough!!

Great family property
We (5 adults and 3 children) enjoyed our stay at lake pines. It's a comfortable townhouse, lots of room, lots of hooks to hang snow clothes, a quiet neighbourhood and the town centre is just around the corner. We will most definitely be back when doing another ski trip! Thanks Anthony!

Comfy place and handy location
Lake Pines was a comfortable and cosy place to stay. It was a great base for our skiing trip and the kids loved the access to the lake and bmx path from the back of the property. Although the unit is fairly basic, it contained everything we needed.

Fantastic house, just what we needed
Close enough walk to the town centre and pubs. Heating could've been slightly better but otherwise a great house well equipped with everything you'd need.

Great location, walking distance to lake, shop and restaurant. The whole townhouse is clean, appliances and amenities are brand new. Plenty of heaters to keep the house warm and cozy. Given the reasonale price, this townhouse has a high value. I will book it again when I go to ski next time.

Why they chose this property
We looked at a lot of properties and its very difficult to find a property with lake access from the rear. During winter the town is best described as busy and while busy can be fun its good to be able to escape within a relatively short walk.
Over the years we have complemented the property with a lot of greenery to match the pine forest at the rear of the property.
We engage a local cleaner at premium rates and have a large spring clean. Having rented for many years elsewhere, it was evident that the 30 minute changeover clean organized by local real-estate agents was totally inadequate. So we do receive a lot of positive feedback regarding cleanliness. In winter its all about skiing then going out to dinner at night. Having two showers and a 400 litre water tank heated twice per day helps. Running out of hot-water was always a problem when we rented elsewhere.
What makes this property unique
Quiet, peaceful. We are the 3rd townhouse on the path with only one common wall which offers a feeling of privacy in the high traffic season.
We make modifications and enhancements to the townhouse every year, the residence has been professionally renovated.
We have installed NBN WIFI with 4G backup which will provide extra security for those that need secure WIF.
Clean.
You are given a security access code prior to arrival.
Its council restricted for 8 people but there are 9 beds which offers some flexibility in shared accommodation. In saying that 6 people is ideal, two per bedroom.
The mountain bike track is essentially a ride down to the rear of the property with the option of going back into the town for the easy ride or the more challenging setion through to Kalkite. There have been significant improvements to the bike tracks in the region with the Thredbo Valley Track (TVT) now extending 30km.
In summer the protected swimming area on the lake is just a short walk.
