The extensive white sand beach and clear blue waters of the bay make it the perfect spot to while away the hours swimming, fishing, snorkelling, diving, finding crabs and other sea creatures in rock pools, relaxing while the kids build sandcastles and possibly even 'cracking a coldie' while the sun sets over the bay. If all you need is the beach at your doorstep, a verandah to watch the sunsets over the bay, comfortable accommodation with all the mod cons and a peaceful and friendly community then you have found the perfect place for your getaway!

Sunset Lodge

Sunset Lodge is a three bedroom log cabin with the all the facilities you could want to make your holiday an enjoyable stay. Heating and cooling provide you with relief from the hotter and cooler days while the recently renovated kitchen provides you with all that is necessary to cook up a gourmet feast or simply pop the toast and plunge the coffee to get the morning started. There are books and games to keep the family entertained and 'eyes down' at 7pm on a Wednesday night at the local community hall for Bingo!! There is a blackboard and sand pit with toys for kiddies and the flatscreen TV and DVD player provides a place to adjourn to in the evenings once you've finished watching the sunset on the deck or taking an evening stroll along the beach. Hammocks are provided for use on the front deck. What can I say, Sunset Lodge at Hardwicke Bay really is the place to unwind, relax and soak up the serenity :)



Strictly no smoking inside the house.
You must provide your own sheets, pilow cases and towels (quilts with covers supplied).
High chair provided.
3 bedrooms sleeping 8 - bed #1: 1 queen, bed #2: 1 queen bed and cot #3: two sets of bunks.
1 bathrooom with bath and separate shower.
