Favourite place to stay!
My hubby and I have stayed here twice now and absolutely love it! The cottage is clean and beautifully furnished with a lovely cosy fire for those cold winter nights. Being on 30 acres it is so peaceful and quiet and yet so close to the town of Stanthorpe. I would thoroughly recommend!

We are so happy you had a nice time Fran. We love it when our guests enjoy this spot as much as we do. We hope to see you again.
Property is is advertised, quiet, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Great location short distance from the township but feels like there is only the wildlife for company. Highly recommended for a relaxing break, and as a base to enjoy the local area around STANTHORPE.

Perfect for a weekend getaway with friends
My husband and I, together with another couple, wanted a clean, spacious and well-appointed place to stay so that we could enjoy the offerings of Stanthorpe and the surrounding district. We found that place in The Olive Tree Cottage. We will be back!

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
It was a little bit tired and one had to hunt around a bit for soap and loo rolls but otherwise it was lovely. I gather the property is up for sale, which might account for its slightly tired condition.
We love this property. Its so peaceful and calming. The viw of the dam right ouside the main bedroom is fabulous. We can also have our furbabes with us too.
Cute cosy cottage with log fire. Short distance from town. Remote and quiet surroundings. Some features could do with an update to reflect the price point, but overall a homely feel and nice place to escape for the weekend.
Awesome secluded but surprisingly close to township
Very clean and spacious. Location very quiet and was easy to find. All facilities in good order, the internet wasn't working at the time, but great 4G coverage so never an issue.
Great place to bring the dogs to explore the property.
Loved the cottage which is about 4-5km from the main street. We watched the birds and wildlife come down to drink from the little lake late in the afternoon. Easy drive to all of Stanthorpe's attractions. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful long weekend in Stanthorpe and absolutely loved our accommodation! Olive Tree Cottage was perfect - very large bedrooms and living spaces. The cottage was very clean and had absolutely everything we needed. The location was perfect as we got to enjoy the tranquil environment whilst only being a short drive to town. Will definitely book again!
The cottage was a good size auth cosy beds and a great TV. Overall everything was good.
Can't help feeling that there could have been a bit more in the value for money stakes a bottle of wine or breakfast hamper for a 5 night stay would have been a nice touch
I stayed at Olive Tree with two of my girlfriends for the weekend and we were all thoroughly impressed with the cottage. It was spotlessly clean with super comfy beds and blankets to keep us warm in the chilly winter evenings, plus a fireplace that was all set up for us. Location is only 5 minutes from town but isolated for privacy and that relaxing country feel. Leah made us feel very welcome and we all agreed we would definitely stay again!
This is our second time staying at this property. We love the quiet, country setting and the bonus is being able to bring our two Westies. Didn’t see a lot of wildlife this time, except a kookaburra and kangaroo, but enjoyed watching the cattle drinking from the waterhole just at the back. Would recommend this property to anyone who would like a break from city life and enjoy a quiet, comfortable and clean place in the country.

Thank you so much. It was a pleasure to have you stay.
Peaceful, perfect position to unwind after exploring the area. Everything supplied to ensure you can cater in for a family. Luxury touches and warm fire add to the pleasureable experience. Fresh air and starry night sky.
We highly recommend this cottage. It was extremely clean and comfortable, everything you would need for a few days away.
Great location, just a few minutes drive to Stanthorpe and easy driving to the wineries and Girraween National Park.
This place was great. Perdect self-contained spot. Exactly as listed in a quiet and scenic spot only 5 min from Stanthorpe proper. Leah was easily contactable and a great host. Will definitely be staying here again on our next trip out.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Olivetree Cottage. The beds were amazing and the living area very comfortable and warm. Loved that everything you needed in a kitchen was there too. Definitely would stay again
The cottage and amenities were well maintained. Everything was easy to use. It was just a couple of minutes from town and shops etc, but in the cottage and the outlook made it feel secluded.
