Why Graeme & Sue Wallis chose Ocean Beach
The property is perfectly positioned between town, the beach and all of Denmark's attractions. Set in a tranquil 12 acre forest retreat and backing onto the Mt Hallowell forest reserve you feel like you are in a world of your own with the magnificent water views yet the township is a short drive away. Untouched beaches and coastline are at your door step for surfing, fishing or just exploring. You won't find a better location!

Had a great time, three families with kids under 10. Adults relaxed enjoying the amazing views while the kids played & explored away from TVs and iPads.
Plenty of space both inside and out with various bedding options and a number of living spaces.
5 minutes or so to Ocean Beach (you can literally check the surf from the bed in the main upstairs bedroom) and Lights Beach. Scored great weather so spent plenty of time at the beach in the sun.
However, there is so much to do in and around Denmark regardless of the weather.
Had reasonably good reception with Telstra at the house. Optus was sketchy but worked most of the time.
If I had one small suggestion it would be to upgrade the tiny electric BBQ to a full-size gas one.
Thanks for your generous review Stewart and we are pleased our little piece of paradise exceeded your expectations from the descriptions on the website. We have reverted to an electric bbq because we had a gas one catch fire and had issues with gas bottles going missing.
Great location. Stunning view.
We had a great stay
Overall we had a pleasant stay in this huge house with its stunning views. Upstairs is bright and open with big big bedrooms and comfortable beds. Downstairs is a little on the dark side and dated and design wise a bit difficult to get around, especially for people like me who have a disability. .The whole house relies on a single wood heater for heating and this became an issue during our stay. It's old and needs a new baffle so that it can be damped down for efficient burning. We replaced the door seal and that helped. The sign at the wood pile said " please use wood sparingly" and we tried to but if you can't properly damp down the fire box then you will use a lot of wood. The house generally worked fine and was comfortable enough. It just needs a more efficient and effective heating system.
Thanks Rob - I’m glad you had a pleasant stay and were not aware you had a disability which the house is not really suitable for. We have since had the baffle replaced in the slow combustion fire which is now working perfectly.
Fantastic house with an awesome view of the surrounding countryside.
Have already recommended this place to several friends.
A great getaway location.
Beautiful property, stunning views
Beautiful rammed earth home with some of the best views in Denmark. The property is very private and peaceful. The online photos don’t do it justice. So happy we found this gem, we will be back!
The unique panoramic views from this solar passive house set in a 12 acre forest setting affords guests the opportunity to see many varieties of birds, wildlife and whale watching. The property is superbly located between Denmarks best beaches for surfing and fishing and the nearby 'Wison Inlet' for safe fresh water swimming and fishing. A walk track from the rear of the house joins onto the famous 'Bibbulum Track' and leads to the 'Monkey Rock' lookout. There is a coastal mountain bike track just a few minutes away and the regions famous wineries, scenic drives and the iconic 'Greens Pool' are just a short car ride away. The township is a ten minute drive for grocery shopping, service stations, library, doctors, hospital, coffee cafes, art & craft galaries, restaurents and boutique shops.
