Always a pleasure to stay each year. Has all the space and amenities we need. Clean and comfortable. Love sitting on the deck and looking out over the river. Kids love riding along the path into town and having the large open grassed area across the road for ball sports.
The property provides everything anyone could possibly need for a break from the grind .
Easy access to everything ( fishing , shopping and a short walk to the club for very nice meals when you don't feel like cooking.)

Always clean and tidy. Great quality towels and linen. Amazing location on the river with a path all the way into town and the park. We’ve stayed 3 times and it’s been great every time.
Great house for our group of 6 singles.
Spacious & comfortable & all as described
Scenic walk to town along river or lovely view of it from the sunny front deck.
House was in a really great spot. Close to town, even closer to the bowlo. Awesome location to explore beaches both to the north and south of Moruya. The house itself was really great as well with a load of different spaces to hang out and enjoy the place regardless of the weather.

A nice older style property that was well equipped for our weekend away.
The front balcony and view of the river being the highlight.
Comfortable beds and decor.
Easy walk to facilities of Moruya.
House was great, warm, clean with everything required for a girls weekend away!
Walked to markets, had lunch at the river restaurant.
Views of the river from front veranda of house.
A great weekend!
The place was fantastic and dare I say even better than it was described. A nice quiet location, very short walk to the Bowling club which had great meals at great prices. The house was immaculate and extremely well appointed. And if you like mountain biking it is the perfect place to stay if you want to ride at Narooma or Mogo. We will most definitely be back
we only stayed one night, as unfortunately we had to return home to Sydney due to unexpected circumstances.the one night we stayed was comfortable and the house was well equipped and had everything we would have needed.
This was our second stay here, and it was just as good as last time. Pete kept us well informed before arrival, and the house was clean and tidy. Great spot on the river, with the path to the park right across the road. Beaches close-by. Thanks again!

The house was so spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to have there own space. Lots of goodies in the pantry too which is very helpful when you are on holidays. Loved the coffee maker too.
Deb and I are now both semi-retired, after professions in the Education and Health areas. We are parents to 3 grown up boys and grandparents to 6 children. Just a couple of average Aussies that enjoy a beer, bubbly and BBQ. Love the South Coast of NSW with its diversity of landscapes, rivers, lakes and beaches. Great local seafood, oysters and restaurants. Always something to do or see.
Why they chose this property
The Moruya Holiday House is in a great location, with views over the Moruya River and the hills to the west. Moruya Bowling and Recreation Club is just about next door, with lawn bowls available and also modern tennis courts. It is only a short 10 minute walk into the Moruya Village. If you prefer fine dining "The River" French restaurant is only a 10 minute walk along the river and we highly recccomend the food and wine. Approximately 15 minutes drive to a variety of surf beaches, Mogo Zoo, Coila and Tuross Lakes. Batemans Bay is only 20 minutes drive. We also recommend the 3 hour Batemans Bay Clyde River Cruise to the riverside village of Nelligen. Approximately $50 with a scrumptious fish lunch, a bar and wonderful scenery. Very relaxing. Also check out The Oyster Shack at Batemans Bay, beautiful fresh osters and prawns from a working oyster farm, BYO and great views. You can also get a coffee or chowder from the food van next door.
What makes this property unique
Our house is deceptively large inside, with all the amenities you need and wonderful views. Do yourself a favour and spend a relaxing weekend or week at our lovely house. Kind Regards Peter and Deb
