Jolly Mon - True Pink Sand Beach - Generator, Cistern, Purified Water & Ice

This luxury furnished home with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean is located on a pristine pink sandy beach. The secluded beach is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, lobstering, spear fishing, strolling, and beachcombing . Generator with automatic transfer switch recently added and cistern is used. You don't have to worry about not having water and electricity which happens regularly. In addition, water purifying system has been added and the ice and water dispensed from the refrigerator are excellent for drinking along with a special faucet at the sink has purified water.

Jolly Mon's main floor has a British Colonial decor with a master bedroom, 1.5 bathrooms, kitchen, with top of the line appliances, great room, and veranda. The great room features a flat panel SMART TV and stereo system with iPod docking and Alexa with Sirius XM for music to be enjoyed throughout the home and veranda. Wireless internet, and satellite TV are provided, air conditioning is available, although the ocean breeze flows through the home because of the elevation and not only keeps it cool but allows you to enjoy the sounds of the ocean.

The loft area has a separate bedroom with a king size bed, a sitting area and office area and a full spa bathroom, with dual sinks, shower and a spa tub that has elevated, breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.

There is a nautical decorated studio on the lower floor with a private entrance, queen bed, futon, kitchen area, and bathroom with shower. If more than four guest in the party there is additional fee of $50 per person to cover the additional cost for the studio. (The cost is calculated into the quote.) If you have less than 4 guest and want to include the studio it is an additional $100 per night.

Jolly Mon is located on a 2.5 acre estate lot on North Shore Dr. (Old Banks Road) in North Palmetto Point. This magical place is only 10 minutes south of Governor's Harbour and 25 minutes south of GHB airport and a little over an hour drive to ELH, North Eleuthera airport. You are centrally located on this 110 mile long island which makes exploring very convenient. You will enjoy some of the best beaches in the Caribbean and be able to take your pick between watching a sunrise or a sunset!

There are many wonderful restaurants on the island and are provided in our guest book. If you like to cook in a gourmet kitchen, you can buy fresh fish most days at the harbour dock or wave or kayak to the fisherman in front of Jolly Mon to bring a fresh catch.

Come check out Jolly Mon, a truly magical custom built home. You will appreciate the versatility of the design, the quality of the construction, and the beautiful endless views of the Atlantic Ocean. Jolly Mon has Starlink for Internet and WiFi connection and it is very reliable. This is truly a special vacation destination that you will want to return to year after year.

The Jolly Mon is exceptionally clean, comfortable and well-stocked. The WiFi and the generator are outstanding and the landscaping on the property is lovely. Plus it’s directly on a gorgeous beach. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

Jolly Mon is a little slice of heaven

This is an amazing property and the owners (Jane and Scott) are wonderful to work with. They've thought of everything you'd need and want for a perfect stay. We've rented another property from jane and Scott for the last 5 years and decided to try Jolly Mon this time. We are now in love with this house, the location, the privacy and the views from every room. You are just steps away from soaking up the sun on the deck or putting your feet into the clear water and white sands of the 'private' beach right below. The house is just minutes from Governors Harbour, Tippy's Bar, and the Island Farm, but far enough away from anything else to make you feel like you're on a small private island.

Prior to staying here, I saw that all the reviews were amazing but this home still exceeded my expectations. The location and views were spectacular but it was also all the little things that made it extra special from outlets by the beds to lots of pillows, towels, recommendations and how to trouble shoot any issues that may come up. We also had the pleasure of meeting Jane and Scott. They are super friendly kind people. If you are looking for a place to stay in Eleuthera, look no further!

Jolly Mon…Amazing Mon!

Jolly Mon did not disappoint! Like many of the other reviews here, we felt that the photos did not do it justice. Beautiful home, great communication with Jane, and central location made for the perfect getaway. The home had all of the amenities you could possibly need and more. We loved the proximity to the Eleuthera Island farm and beautiful beaches. It was wonderful to enjoy spectacular sunrises with coffee on the veranda. Thank you Jane and Scott for a lovely stay!

Island gem

Jollymon is a true paradise. The property feels secluded but easily accessible from either airport on the island. The house is amazing! It had all the amenities you could ask for, comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms and panoramic views. It also had great outdoor features with showers, nice seating, a good grill and beautiful landscaping. The beach! We were at jollymon for a week, swam at the beach everyday and saw 4 people…total! Even though all beaches on Eleuthera are public, this one felt private. The water, the sand and the reefs were all amazing. We snorkeled right off the beach and saw all kinds of fish. The water is crystal clear and inviting. We used the kayaks, boogie boards and snorkel gear provided. Jane and Scott were very accommodating hosts and we plan to book another stay in the future. Can’t wait to come back to jollymon!

Top Notch Accomodations

Jolly Mon constantly exceeded our expectations. We were WOW-ed by the accommodations from the moment we arrived. The house and beach were beautiful, the beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were luxurious. If you think you need to bring something, you don't. All you need are your clothes and some coffee (because you can only buy instant!). The owners have equipped Jolly Mon with absolutely everything you'd need, including purified water and a generator. Everyone we met on Eleuthera was extremely friendly and everywhere we ate was delicious. My family and I can't wait to go back.

Idyllic setting

Beautiful property and well maintained! It is kept clean. The beach is practically private. We saw only two people and only twice. The furnishings are of high quality and I especially enjoyed the stereo. We struggled to find the place the first time then on our way out discover that all the way to Church Street is on Apple Maps (duh). The owner was very responsive and very helpful with suggestions. The whole island is safe and the people friendly. We hope to return. My only advice is to bring mosquito spray (the burning mosquito coil did not work) .

Gorgeous beach and home

The pictures really do not do this home or the beach justice. This was our second time renting from Scott and Jane, but our first time at Jolly Mon. We could have not done any other activities on island and been happy just to stay on Jolly Mon’s beach snorkeling and kayaking all day. Eleuthera is like no other place and holds a special place in our hearts. The home is so comfortable and has everything a family needs to enjoy their vacation. We would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for peace and tranquility. The views can’t be beat and we couldn’t have possibly asked for more! Scott and Jane are wonderful hosts. Their recommendations never disappoint and communication is always clear and quick! Jolly Mon is a true 5 star property and worth every penny!

Secluded getaway with privacy and perfect beach.

Beautiful property right on the beach. Property manager/owners were very nice and communicated promptly considering the time of year when I booked just a few weeks away from Christmas and New Year. If you want privacy and one of the most beautiful beaches you’ll see then this is for you. There are some places nearby that have good food and drinks. Snorkelling mask and fins/gear are available and we saw a stingray patrolling the beach (large). Was very cool. Had fun watching the little sand crabs popping in and out of their holes 😎. Nice views from the house and shower. Upstairs shower head had no water pressure but maybe just needs a clean. Emergency generator was useful as one night the power went out for a few minutes but quickly was restored. Great feature for a place this remote. Thanks! Definitely would recommend to friends.

Pristine, VERY well-appointed house in a fabulous location!

I have been to Eleuthera almost 20 times in the last 10 years - believe me when I say that rentals can be very hit-or-miss. Jolly Mon might be the best house I have ever stayed in on the island. The listing is exactly as described on a beautiful, secluded beach. The house had absolutely EVERYTHING I needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay: VERY well-stocked kitchen; comfortable beds (I think it was a sleep number mattress - in any case, i slept like a baby every night); amazing shower/bath, tons of natural light...I hardly left the property because it was so comfortable and picturesque - there is absolutely nothing they could have done better in designing and building this tucked-away sanctuary. Jane was kind and communicative, and I was disappointed I didnt get a chance to meet her. Jolly Mon is an incredible deal for the price, and i would love to return. In fact, I would have extended my stay had the house not already been booked. Just an absolute gem.

Jolly Perfect

3 couples (my brother and his wife and another life long friends came) all in our late 50’s stayed here for 8 nights. We couldn’t decide who would stay in what room so we had a drawing! They are all equally lovely. This is mine and my husband’s 8th trip and absolutely our favorite stay yet! So many things were stocked and provided that many homes don’t have and so helpful! The view and location per amazing. We lived on the back porch! Filtered water was the best!! No more lugging water bottles and gallons!! And a generator which was nice! Beds comfortable and bathrooms very nice. Close to Island Farm which for us is a bonus. We cooked most meals here and found everything we needed! We rarely saw another on the beach and walked it several times a day. Wish we could have met the owners but maybe next time. I can see why Jolly Mon has 5 stars and we are happy to add another 5 star rating! Thanks! We will be back.

Our 5th Fabulous Visit

This was our 5th stay at JollyMon, and once again, it exceeded all our expectations! Jane and Scott are truly fabulous hosts, making our experience unforgettable from start to finish. The level of communication and attentiveness they provide is second to none, ensuring that we felt welcomed and cared for throughout our entire stay. Each time we return to JollyMon, we find ourselves delighted to discover new luxurious features added to the home. It's evident that Jane and Scott are dedicated to enhancing the guest experience, and it truly shows in every aspect of the property. The attention to detail and commitment to improvement are remarkable. The views from JollyMon are simply breathtaking, and they seem to be endless! We couldn't get enough of the amazing vistas surrounding the property. The recent addition of the California style deck was an absolute game-changer. It became our favorite spot to savor our morning coffee and unwind with a glass of wine in the evenings. Overlooking the stunning pink sands, we felt like we were living in a dream. There's an undeniable charm about JollyMon that captures your heart. The serene ambiance and picturesque setting make it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It's a place where you can truly unwind, relax, and soak in the beauty of nature. We couldn't ask for anything more during our stay at JollyMon. Scott and Jane started their search for the perfect island, perfect parcel of land and purchased this piece of paradise in 2006. Construction started in 2008 and since we were building from Southern California at the time it wasn't completed until 2011. Scott completed the interior of the home and has added customized created tables throughout the years. We have another property, Unicorn Cay, on the island so are here a majority of the time. It is joy to share this labor of love with guest who appreciate this special island.
