About Alfred Stewart
This is our family's cabin that we built in 1981. It has been in our family ever sense. We grew up in the Franklin area just south of Nashville, TN. We have a passion for working hard, being outside, and spending quality time with our friends and family as well as helping others any chance we get.
Alfred Stewart purchased this Cabin in 1981
Why Alfred Stewart chose Beersheba Springs
Our family has been coming to Beersheba Springs, TN since the early 1900s. It started with my great grandfather and we have been going up there ever since. Going to Beersheba helps us push the reset button on our busy day to day life that we live. The rustic feel of the cabin and the rich history of Beersheba Springs creates an atmosphere that dates back to the 1800s which is actually how old the wood is that currently makes up the main part of the cabin.
What makes this Cabin unique
It has a front porch swing as well as a church pew and a Jack Daniels barrel we store wood in for the fireplace. The back porch has a 180 degree unobstructed view of the mountains and valley below. Our favorite feature is the couch swing on the back porch. The cabin has many puzzles and board games as well as a basketball and tennis courts. It sits on 12 acres of land that you have full access to.

We rented a few cabins in the area for family to stay during our wedding weekend. The deck off this cabin is amazing! Love the view and the swing. They grilled out the first night. Location is very easy to find and a beautiful quiet neighborhood. The cabin decor is charming and rustic and very open in the living room. We heard there were some spiders and rodents scratching around - but that's to be expected with a mountain cabin. Plenty of parking space and a nice yard to enjoy. So pleased to have found this haven!
Spectacular sunrise views !
Rustic 4 bedroom cabin with everything you need for a quiet , relaxing stay. You'll want to be sure and experience the sunrises . Very peaceful. Would definitely stay here again, if in the area.
Thank you Arnold. Yes, those sun rises (and if your lucky the moon rises) are pretty spectacular. Hope to host your group again!
Fabulous Views From Family Cabin
This is our second time to stay at this family cabin! We love the back deck and the amount of beds and bathrooms. The kitchen is so well stocked and we love using all the beautiful dishes and serving ware. It's a gorgeous surrounding, peaceful and quiet. Would definitely recommend for larger groups. Tons of activities. Looking forward to going back in the fall!
Thank you Jennefer! I enjoyed hosting your group. Cant wait for your return in the fall!
Beautiful Family Cabin
We cannot wait to get back to Backacrers Inn! Gorgeous setting! House has a huge kitchen that is fully stocked with beautiful plates and serving ware. Had comfortable furniture, tons of beds, the most comfortable mattresses!! Had plenty of games and activities for all. Ton of firewood. Tons of room to spread out. We spent most of our day lounging on the deck in the sun. It's really the most cozy place we have every stayed! Loved every minute of it!!
Jennefer, i am so happy you guys had such a great time. Please come back again!
I really enjoyed the view of the porch on the back!
I experienced difficulties with electrical wiring, air conditioning, and dishwasher! If these are repaired, I may book it for next fall!!
Hey Charlotte. Thank you for the response!
For the AC unit it needs to be turned off the "econo mode" and the room will cool off or heat up really quick. Other than that everything else should be working fine.
If there are any other issues please let me know and it will get fixed ASAP.
Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay!
We enjoyed the house, deck, view, and the ability to have room to get the whole family together.
Overall it was very enjoyable. You are in a wooded area so there were bugs & spiders, but we expected that. We also enjoyed the 2 parks & hiking trails nearby. If opportunity arises, we would definitely consider going back.
