Set amongst tropical gardens, 'Koolinda' boasts four spacious indoor living areas ( the top north west facing living room can double as a meeting room or office if you are visiting Broome on business), a dining room and numerous outdoor living spaces including a barbeque/entertaining deck and an observation deck - perfect for Kimberley star gazing, or for enjoying early morning sunrises.

The use of vibrant and earthy colours throughout the residence creates visual pleasure, and reflects the meeting of two natural worlds - the outback and the ocean.

The Story of Koolinda

'Koolinda' is named after a famous motor vessel, SS Koolinda. Built for coastal trade with all the modern ship trimmings of the day, she led a charmed life and was recognised as the queen of motor vessels during the 1930s halcyon years of State Shipping. She was considered a vital lifeline between Fremantle and Darwin.

Great accomodation for a group

Lovely home in great location to use as a base to see Broome and surrounds. There were 3 couples staying so there was plenty of space for each to have their privacy plus great areas to share. Loved the pool. Sandy and her husband were very helpful.

Perfect Group Getaway

Excellent quality, well-fitted out home with ample room for 3 families, the location is within walking distance of Town Beach which has an amazing playground, water playground and cafe. It comes with everything you could need for a holiday! The only thing that could have been better is that the pool heat pump can only warm it up so much during the cool season and it was a bit chilly for some of our group. Would return in a heartbeat!

This huge stylish house easily accommodated our family group of fifteen. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen, comfortable beds, a choice of areas for sitting, and walking distance from museum and Town Beach .

Everything was wonderful, from the cold drinks and food in the fridge on arrival - and the pool toys blown up and ready to us to all the amazing space and wonderful furnishing. There was 9 of us over 3 generations and we did not get close to using all the space available. From our first contact, Donna and her team were extremely helpful! We will definitely be back.

Out of this world!

Our stay couldn't have been any better. We never felt on top of each other or crammed. Beds were comfortable, furniture was of a high standard. There was ample crockery & cutlery as well as bowls etc. if need be. The outdoor area near the swimming pool was an excellent area for all of us to spend time with each other, but having so many lounges it was easy to move away if you felt you needed time alone. Probably the only negative was the swimming pool was very fresh. The pool man fixed the heating whilst we were there but it appeared to only last one day & then it was cold again. This was a very small issue though as the standard of the place was so high. Was thrilled with the effort put in by Jules & the cleaners to allow us to get into the place as quickly as they did & the house was in a beautiful state when we arrived. Wonderful & well worth the money. Thank Koolinda, I hope to return one day :)

Glam location, fabulous house

Really, really excellent. Koolinda just swallows people, it's so big and airy. We had 9 adults and a 6 year old and there was so much room we lost each other in it. Beautifully furnished, super clean, and close to everything in town, with terrific views over Roebuck Bay.

The house was easy to heat and cool. The seperate living areas are very usable. We had a good time at Broome and at Koolinda.

I just wanted to say thanks for all your efforts in getting us in Koolinda for Easter. The house was totally amazing. Beautifully designed, it has such a warm and welcoming feel and totally luxurious. We all had a fantastic time. The welcome pack of Easter treats and Matso's ginger beer was unexpected yet greatly appreciated. It was a really nice touch and we enjoyed them thoroughly. Little Isla loved her backpack gift. The and fly cream also was a hit as we did get attacked a few times. It was a holiday we will never forget. We were all majorly depressed driving back to Port Hedland yesterday. :)So thank you very much. We will be recommending it to all our friends and booking again very soon.RegardsJenna McClure
