Escape to this peaceful, coastal shack, perfectly positioned to capture some of the best ocean views in Venus Bay, including sweeping views of the entrance and surrounding coastline.

Set on a private block, this relaxed beachside retreat offers space, tranquillity, and a true connection to nature — the perfect place to slow down, unwind, and enjoy the fresh sea air.

Step inside to a light-filled open plan living, kitchen, and dining area, complete with a 50” TV and beautiful outlook over the bay. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, and DeLonghi Coffee machine & a Nespresso pod machine (just bring your favourite grounds or pods ).

Glass sliding doors open onto a spacious modern deck, creating seamless indoor-outdoor living. Enjoy long lunches or sunset dinners with the 8-seater outdoor setting and BBQ while taking in the ever-changing ocean views.

A second living space provides additional room to relax, featuring a TV & DVD player, along with board games, recipe books, and outdoor activities like bocce.

The home comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests across 4 bedrooms. While the rooms are cosy, they are thoughtfully arranged for a relaxed beach stay:
• Main bedroom: Queen bed with ocean views
• Second bedroom: Double bed
• Two additional bedrooms: Single bed in each, one with ocean view

The bathroom/laundry includes a shower with a small bath underneath, along with a automatic washing machine.

The Space & Setting

Located on a long private block, there is plenty of room for parking vehicles, boats, or trailers — ideal for fishing trips or coastal adventures.

The property runs on tank water (no mains water), supported by two large water tanks, giving it that authentic off-grid coastal feel. Guests are kindly asked to be mindful of water usage during their stay.

Ocean View is tucked away at the back of Venus Bay, offering a quiet and secluded setting with incredible elevated views across Pt Weyland, the entrance, and the entire bay.

Venus Bay is a hidden gem on the Eyre Peninsula, known for its pristine beaches, calm waters, and relaxed coastal lifestyle. It’s a place where you can truly switch off and reconnect.

Explore nearby natural attractions including Mt Camel, Talia Caves, Rincon, and the beautiful Venus Bay Conservation Park. A short drive further brings you to iconic spots like Murphy’s Haystacks and Baird Bay, where you can swim with sea lions.

Nearby towns such as Elliston and Streaky Bay offer cafés, supplies, and a taste of local coastal life.

The region is also famous for its fresh seafood — especially King George Whiting and the renowned Venus Bay King Prawns.

Take a walk along the South Head trail and keep an eye out for dolphins often seen at the entrance, as well as the local seal that occasionally visits the jetty.

If you enjoy surfing, there are great nearby surf beaches, including Kingo’s Surf School generally over holiday periods.
