"Cully" Beach House - South Coast

Less than three hours drive from Sydney and Canberra, Culburra Beach on the south coast is the perfect destination for a short getaway or an extended vacation.
With two surf beaches to choose from, Lake Wollumboula, the mouth of the mighty Shoalhaven River and just a short distance away Jervis Bay, this coastal village has everything for the aquatic enthusiast.

Surfing, swimming, fishing, sailing, water-skiing, whale watching ... just to name a few.

Located at the southern end of the beach with a northerly aspect and absolute beach frontage this house is the perfect place to enjoy your stay.

The large deck overlooks the ocean from Tilbury Cove to the east, along the entire length of the beach to Orient Point lighthouse, with Cambewarra Mountain and the coastal escarpment in the distance providing an artist's backdrop to the sea.

The house is large with magnificent ocean views from inside the main entertaining area and main bedroom as well as from out on the deck. The house and the furnishings in it are very comfortable but simple and are designed to enhance the main features of the property which are the glorious views and the spaciousness of the entertaining areas. It provides the perfect environment for relaxing and recharging work weary bodies.

Your children will especially enjoy the space to play both inside and out, without you needing to be overly concerned about them damaging items or furniture.

*** Please Note: We offer late checkout on Sunday afternoon (4.00 pm) for weekend bookings - so you can continue to sit back and relax for the day and don't have to rush off first thing on Sunday morning!

Our House

The house has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a huge indoor living / entertaining area (100 square metres) plus a separate dining / family area with TV, DVD Player and Playstation. Sony music system with Bluetooth capability and USB input for your own music.

The entire north wall of the house is constructed from floor to ceiling glass (with the exception of the fireplace) providing a delightful spot to gaze out over the ocean and creating a light and airy environment. The open plan design of the home allows family and friends to share time together whilst providing each guest with their own personal space in which to relax.

Laze casually on the comfortable lounges or stretch out along the window benches with a good book or perhaps test your skills with one of the many jigsaw puzzles supplied. There is also an indoor barbecue in the main living area so the chef doesn't miss out on the conversation whilst cooking the steaks, sausages or freshly caught seafood. Anyone for bacon and eggs cooked on the barbie for breakfast?

Facilities

The kitchen is modern, simple and functional with easy cleaning surfaces and ample cupboard storage and bench top working space. Equipment includes a cook-top, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and a Capino Espressotoria Coffee machine with PODS readily available from the local Woolworth's store. There is crockery, cutlery and glassware for at least 12 settings along with a range of cooking utensils.

A second fridge in the laundry along with a washing machine and a dryer, provides ample space for drinks and other provisions if necessary.

All bedrooms have queen size beds while the fourth bedroom has an additional bunk bed. Each bedroom has either a built-in or free-standing wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and chests of draws.
