This was perfect for our family of 6. The location and setting are excellent. The house is warm and inviting, without being overly precious or sterile. The beds are comfy and the house is well stocked with everything you need and the things that you forgot you might want too. We had a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage. Graeme was extremely friendly and helpful, providing great tips for our visit. We especially loved the tropical forest surrounding the house, a true haven for diverse and fascinating birds and wildlife. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay at Avalon very much! The location was perfect for us and we enjoyed walking to the bakery and beach. The house had everything we needed including a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds.

Jungle Stay

Family really enjoyed staying in this house, amongst the trees and wild-life. House is comfortable, well maintained, and fully equipped! A highlight of our trip and would definitely stay again!

Absolutely the best place ever.!!!!!Superb location next to the park. Wallabies hopping by. A koala out for a stroll. Our own family of cockatoos on the porch. House superbly well equipped if we’re ever lucky enough to come back, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Loved our stay at Avalon at Arcadia. Fab home, magical setting with the creek beside the house flowing after recent rains. Perfect for a cool dip on a hot summer day.

Lovely quiet area in Acadia surrounded by bush. House was great. Host rang to let us know we could go in early on our first day and again on the last evening to let us know we could stay as long as we liked on the last day which was generous of him.

Great location

Well appointed holiday house. We come every year in the September holidays to Magnetic Island and have found this place as good as any other we have stayed at. Maggie is a favourite destination for our family and we love Alma Bay. Kids loved the birds.

Surrounded by nature
