Ask a questionAbout Pat Greenhill
My family were the original settlers of this district in 1821 and I am the 5th generation to be farming the land where my ancestors settled. Our farm runs multi purpose merino sheep, we grow seed crops (currently carrot seed) and we have the "Gala Estate" vineyard. My husband Bob still works on the farm but we have handed the management over to our son Adam and his wife Grainne. Before returning to the property after my formal education, I was a kindergarten teacher. I love bushwalking and am quite passionate about the local history.
Pat Greenhill purchased this Cottage in 2011
Why Pat Greenhill chose Swansea
Because I love the district I wanted to be able to share it with others. We provide what I feel is a homely setting for families or two couples - or just for one couple.
What makes this Cottage unique
Pettit Cottage is an older style Cottage which many guests describe as " home away from home". It has a well equipped kitchen for those who want to eat in. Having two bathrooms makes the Cottage an ideal place for two couples travelling together to stay. The Cottage Garden is small but makes a perfect setting for the Cottage.
