Stunning views from our modern guesthouse of Mt Hood, the Gorge, and Hood River


Welcome to Our View House

We decided to share our guesthouse because we love sharing the incredible view we’re so lucky to enjoy every day. It’s truly special — and we wanted our friends and guests to experience it too.

Our 600-square-foot modern guesthouse was designed as a private honeymoon-style retreat. Perched on concrete sonotubes 18 feet above the ground, it feels like a modern treehouse, offering a unique sense of floating among the trees while taking in breathtaking views of Hood River, Mt. Hood, and the Columbia River Gorge — our favorite view of all.

Access to the guesthouse is via a 30-foot steel bridge and about 35 long steps, adding to the secluded and elevated feel.

Although the space is private, it’s located near our main house, so a few house rules help keep things peaceful for everyone:

One vehicle maximum — please park on the east side (left side) of the main house.
Two guests maximum. The only exception is for infants not yet crawling (for safety reasons — sharp glass edges).
If you love modern architecture, panoramic views, and tranquility, we think you’ll truly enjoy your stay.

This place is absolutely amazing! I felt very lucky to be in the guest house every moment that we spent there! The views are exceptional. The attention to detail was very thought out. The deer, bangle cat and eagles were the icing on the cake. Look forward to coming back for another anniversary.

Priceless View of Mt. Hood & the Columbia River Gorge! Beautiful guesthouse. Absolutely enjoyed our stay celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary. Hosts were quick to respond & were extremely friendly. Wish we got to meet them but never saw them during our 2 night stay. Very quiet, peaceful & private location. Plenty of towels, soaps & paper products. Fully stocked kitchen. Even provided binoculars. As we left, we saw 2 fawn & a doe. Enjoyed watching the numerous Wind surfers! Played golf at Indian Creek Golf Course. Pretty close to the famous Multnomah falls. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Just can’t beat the view!!!

Amazing place!

Don’t hesitate to book here. We spent three nights and it was better than we could have hoped for. The views are even better in person. If you are on the fence, it’s worth it.
