Bayfield- Charming Condo, Jumping Off Point to Apostles

This newly remodeled one bedroom upper level condo is perfect for a family or a romantic getaway. 1 of 3 adjacent properties we own. Great for a couples retreat or 2 to 3 families wanting to vacation together but have your own space. Sister properties are listings 1307489 and 1307347. This Condo sleeps 4, has a queen size bed in the bedroom, a Queen size futon in the living room, and the kitchen is fully equipped. This property offers a private deck, A/C, flat-screen cable TV, WiFi, BBQ, and fire pit. It is a short walk to the bar/restaurant, heated outdoor swimming pool (open mid June-August), and Port Superior a full service marina. It is nestled in the woods with a short walk to the lake for down time after a full day of adventure or you can sit by the pool over looking the marina. Bayfield is a 2.3 mile bike or hike along the scenic Brownstone Trail overlooking the Apostle Islands and Lake Superior. Bayfield has a fresh fish market, farmer's market on Saturday, shopping, bars, restaurants, live music on the roof top at the Inn, art galleries, and a maritime museum. Take a ferry ride to Madeline Island for the day or an Island cruise through the 22 beautiful islands of the Apostles. The area offers sailing charters, fishing charters, and kayaking. There is an eighteen hole golf course, apple orchards, awesome mountain biking trail and concerts at The Big Top Chautauqua. The Big Top Chautauqua offers free shuttle from Port Superior Marina. Winter- The Ice fishing is awesome, snowmobile trails, snow shoeing, down hill skiing, Cross country skiing, rent fat tire bikes to bike the islands and Ice caves weather permitting. We are a non smoking pet friendly property.

This is the 3 rd time we have stayed at Brookside. It is clean, quiet and the bed is so comfy. In the pines is beautiful. Also, I am a dog lover. I have an English Cocker. He is well behaved. The fact that we could have my boy along was a “ huge” factor.

What a wonderful condo. 3 min from Bayfield, just a short walk to a marina. Condo has everything you need, fire pit our the front door was well stocked with wood. Bring your groceries with you, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

The place is older but keep up well. It was a nice place to stay . The only complaint I have is the bedroom closet was messy and blankets and pillows and towels were thrown on the floor so you could't tell if they were clean. Other then that I would highly suggest that you stay here.

Mark and I have been visiting the Apostle Islands for the past 15 years. We currently keep a sailboat in the Apostle Islands Marina. We fish, hike, sail, and mountain bike. The 22 Islands have so much to offer from light houses, sand beaches, hiking, swimming and berry picking.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property because it is a resort style condo 2 miles from historic Bayfield. The property has a heated pool(open mid June-August), full service marina, walking/biking trails and down hill/cross country skiing. It is nestled in the woods for down time after a full day of adventure. You can enjoy sitting by the fire pit, grilling out or just hang out on the deck.
